The same people complaining about the glue containing harmful chemicals still probably eat fast food and drink soda everyday lol just cover the glue with clear nail polish after it’s dried to create a barrier if you’re too freaked out. I used this method on several of my rings and it works far better than anything else I’ve tried. It’s literally impossible to see while wearing the ring and it’s incredibly easy to remove or reshape.
@@RP-dy5mu or the fact that nail polish will likely come off over time allowing your skin to come in contact with this glue, which causes cancer. 👀 No, thank you.
Well done! This is a great way to size a ring without spending lots of money. I have lots of rings that are a little too large and that I only wear occasionally to special events. I'll be using this technique.
Due to weight loss I've gone down a whole ring size and all of my rings just fall off. These are the perfect solution. They do not pinch me at all, Medihealer Ring Size Adjuster! They are clear (and not turning yellow so far) so they are pretty discreet. I highly recommend these and even purchased them for my mother.
Nice technique sir. Sir can it be done on 9.25 starling silver with solitaire AD stones or any other imitation ring? Or this flame process will ruin the total ring if it's not pure silver?
Baba Mustafa Hello Egypt !! I love that glue it is my favorite as we visit Egypt each year we buy it !! my Husband is named Mostafa and we call him BABa !! I am a professional painter , I do craft work and I sell a lot of my work....we eventually moved to Texas in America... e-6000 smells awful and causes cancer....she said you can put clear nail polish over it ...
Its a quick fix if you are waiting for a ring guard. Or for costume jewelry where its not worth much if damaged. I wouldnt do this to my real rings. But the cheap ones yea.
Thanks for the video. The only concern I have is, I don't think the glue is meant to be used this way. Some people might be allergic to the chemicals in the glue. Or the glue might release harmful elements that could affect your finger/skin, since your finger is constantly in touch with the glue. I think this is only good for temporary measure.
+imprezagtr thank you for your comment, very thoughtful, true that might not be designed for long time contact with human skin, but since it is just little contact with skin, therefore might be ok, of course if there is any uncomfortable if in contact with the glu then the ring has to be taken off immediately. I am ok with the glue, i had not allergy on it.
Brilliant idea! But is the glue water soluble? What if after going to bathroom? Would it be possible to lose a ring because the glue melted after washing the hands and the ring becomes bigger in size?
Whatever the case maybe. Everyone has the option of choosing whatever works for them to size their ring. If it works for you and you don’t have any concerns, then use the method. If the method doesn’t work for you and your not feeling comfortable with the method, then don’t use it.
I only have one ring which was my deceased mother's wedding ring. I can see how your method works but would rather find something other than glue to fix the problem.
I'm not so sure about using glue but I did watch a video before your and they used clear nail polish witch worked very well you can't see the polish and it dries slot faster.
Tamar Jean-Baptiste it's called E6000 found at Hobby Lobby or Michaels for jewelry making for glueing beads, or beading cords NOT for resizing bc it crumbles over time. WMart has cheap ring sizers...
salim elmahmoud ring guards will scrape and scratch your gold rings, irritate and scratch your fingers and snag all your clothes. Not to mention, it looks ugly. The glue seems like a much better idea. Certainly more comfortable, practical and discreet. Not sure about the chemicals in 'this glue' but we're certainly on the right track. Thank you Rosanne Tsang for uploading this video.
You can apply the same principal to, for instance, your trousers. If the size is too large, just glue it to your waist. Leave it on when taking a shower or bath. Dry yourself using a blow-dryer, so easy and convenient. A real win-win situation...
OMG as a gem collector this is the worse thing you can do. Your gem needs to breathe and get the natural light from all angles. You're blocking not only the light but how will you clean ur stone from underneath if u r covering it with glue. PLEASE do not use this method. Just get a ring guard
lol, "as a gem collector" you know absolutely nothing. I am a certified jeweller and gemmologist. everyone is right that this is not the best possible way to "resize" a ring. I see it as a quick fix if i'm honest. Your gem does not need to "breathe" and i hope you don't honestly go around saying this. The gem is not getting any light from the bottom because that is where your finger is anyway... and last but not least, why would you need to clean it? the bottom is covered in glue, how is it going to get covered in dust/dead skin/dirt/etc... Please don't comment on videos telling someone not to do something when you yourself have absolutely no knowledge of the facts.
Lol these people's comments are so dumb. If you're using real metal why tf would you cheap out and not actually get it resized? This video is obviously for non-expensive rings. Hot glue peels off. She's showing us a way that won't! Haters!
Hot glue will peel off of almost everything. She used E6000 glue. It's much stronger although I'm not sure about putting chemicals like that in constant contact with your skin. But you can buy it at any home improvement store and most craft or hobby stores like Michael's.
Marco Polo I'd be embarrassed if my vocabulary, spelling, grammar and punctuation was as bad as yours. Learn proper English before you comment. The joke's on you! 😃
I have better solution. Before the glue dries shove your finger through it and wait for 15mins while using a hair dryer on it. The ring will never be loose again....make sure its super glue and the label warns not to use it on the skin!
stephen mac Apparently they now allow 5 year olds to comment on RU-vid. What a sophisticated sense of humour you have. Incidentally, how's your command of mandarin? 😃
OMG I seriously hope these are just cheap crap because there is no way in hell I would put glue on any piece of my valued rings. Just cough up the cash and have them resized properly!
