If only the officer would just put his Ego aside and humble himself by realizing he’s just a servant of the people. He’s so unprofessional it’s cringe to watch him speak.

Even the Sgt and PC looked visibly uncomfortable and awkward. I hope his Superiors are shown this video on how one of their Inspectors totally escalated things totally out of proportion.

What a dreadful display. The antagonism against filming was palpable but he called you angry!! The insults, the assumptions, the anger and arrogance was among the worst I’ve seen. Investigative procedures require an open mind. If this bloke is meant to be an investigator he has zero skills. He was riddled with prejudice, paranoia and made assumptions without seeking any facts. The overall quality of Plod is now so bad that they are reduced to employing ignorant Man-Child clowns like this into positions that are clearly beyond them. I would be willing to bet that this fool was fast-tracked into the Police from some university where he was probably studying Human Geography or similar. The current recruitment dilemma of the Police is a problem of their own making. The term Police Constable in the UK has now become so toxic, so undesirable as a position of employment that this goon will probably be a Chief Inspector within 10 years of joining because nobody else wants the job. How can we expect street cops to take orders from someone like him?

How can it possibly be helped so that more police understand what public property is, do identify and know what being hostile or what anger is. If they struggle on a basic level, inferiority complexes, maturity or recognising emotion, they should be vetted for it.

Why not identify which is in his policy terrible unprofessional. Constantly talking over the public not listening and making accusations. His behaviour was calm and collected he was saying anything to escalate. Then giving personal opinions was not great when on duty in his official capacity. Then giving his personal reasons for acting on his feelings. I have 2 relations in the police force and they would be embarrassed.
Ignorant people remain ignorant because they never listen. Couple that with a misplaced sense of superiority, and you have an unbeatable combination....unfortunately.

This so called inspector is a very dangerous person!! Refuse to identify to a member of public. Lied about being on private land. It’s clearly public! Made many false allegations that you are angry and anti police. (Compulsive liar) He refuses to follow his own rules, but will enforce it on other! Expressing personal opinion, rather than enforcing the law! Lied about what the signs say! He is very antagonistic. He is clearly trying to escalate the situation. By continually suggesting how angry you are. Despite being VERY calm. The officers did a fantastic job at ensuring the public that he can’t be trusted. Making him a danger to the public and the judiciary 😉
On their website, Wiltshire police say they are now hiring police staff and officers, after watching the inspector in this video, we can only hope they are also going to higher the standards of the new recruits.
I am really concerned about the fixed predatory grin the inspector is wearing . The feeble fibs and fabrications as he blatantly polices by personal feelings .His whole demeanour is way off the norm . I study body language analysis and this creep show of an inspector is flying a big red flag .
It seems that this Senior officer has a pre prepared answer for everything..totally arrogant, condescending & very very dangerous in that , if this is the level of contempt from Senior Police god only knows what the junior staff learn from him. One saving grace may be the other officers who did conduct themselves appropriately. Alas, they are now in the invidious position of having to testify against him.

The Inspector made himself look incredibly foolish in trying to antagonise the guy with the camera, he came across as arrogant and completely lacking in any social skills. He was completely lacking in professionalism and could have learnt a lot from the other two officers in the clip. He is a typical example of why the public have lost faith in the police.
