I am an older student getting into interior design. I love how precise you are about defining the tools. So many videos skip through showing the tools in a logical precise way which makes it very difficult to follow the video when someone is showing content creation. Wish that people were this good at showing Revit tools!!!
excellent, i usually quit on these because i'm dumb. I love the feature you use on this to show what topic is covered down below on the time line with splits
Have been looking at different video editing tutorials and your video has been the easiest to follow and understand. The pacing is just right and the content is not overwhelming. Thanks for not trying to cover too much material, big help for those of us who are just starting with video creation and editing. Subscribing.
Just watched, Thank You for an excellent tutorial, the pacing was excellent. I am a senior teaching myself as I go. Most tutorial videos are paced to fast for a novice to understand, using words I don't know, actions I am not familiar with. I watched Clip Champ tutorials for several months and had no idea what to do. I was forced to quit using Window 11 for videos a few months back, so I have been stumbling thru with Clip Champ learning as I go. The pacing was great and I picked up some new skills from this video. Thank You, just subscribed and will be watching Terry @ Tardis Spider
Thank you. This was a great video tutorial. I've been using Clip Champ (sort of anyway), and my videos are of questionable production quality haha. Your clear and simple explanations have answered a lot of questions I was wrestling with. Thank you once again. I have subscribed to your channel.
Best video of ClipChamp I’ve seen. Slow enough I could actually follow along easily. Is it easy to edit a narrative video? ie removing unwanted and unnecessary words? Thanks again for this video.
Thanks so much! If you want to remove words from the soundtrack of your individual clips, you can hover over the clip, right-click, select "audio", then select "detach audio" This will remove the audio track from the video clip so that you can trim it without interfering with what's displayed in the video. You might want to check out our video, "Adding Voiceover to a Video in Microsoft Clipchamp", for some more information on editing audio.
Thank you! I'm really glad this was beneficial for you, and I wish you the best of success with your video projects. You may also want to check out our video "Adding Voiceover to a Video in Microsoft Clipchamp".
Thanks so much for your comments! In many of the editing programs I've used, the export speed seems to be roughly equal to the actual play time of the finished video, but there are definitely a variety of issues that can affect this. I found a thread on the Microsoft Support site that may be helpful: prod.support.services.microsoft.com/en-au/topic/exporting-from-clipchamp-troubleshooting-61dad49a-666f-4982-b8a7-8807617ae16a
Excellent tutorial. Your pace made it easy to follow you instruction. I hope you can help me with a problem I'm having. The picture I get on my preview screen is tiny, which makes it hard to do any editing. I've tried enlarging the box that appears around the clip, but that doesn't seem to help. Is there a button I need to click on to make the clip fill the entire preview screen?
Thanks so much for your kind comments! When you're editing, underneath the clip and to the right of where the "play", "rewind", and "fast forward" buttons are, you should see an icon that looks like the four corners of a square. If you click on this, your clip will fill the entire screen. I hope this helps!
@@valorexcel Thanks for your reply. You're correct, when I click on the icon you suggested, the clip does fill the screen but then I can no longer see my timeline. When I look at your tutorial, your clip fills the preview screen and you can still see your timeline. I only get about 3 inches of video on my preview screen.
Hello! This tutorial actually covers the features and functions of Microsoft Clipchamp. We may possibly do a tutorial for Capcut sometime in the future. I wish you the best with you video editing efforts!
Is there a way to make the pictures of a slide show fit the music automatically? Or do I have to stretch each photo individually? Please tell me I don't have to do that.
Hello! Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't currently have an option in Clipchamp for setting the duration of the clips, so you would need to adjust each as you bring it into the timeline. You could take the total time (in seconds) of the music you're using and divide it by the number of slides in your presentation to determine what the duration of each needs to be. Another option would be to create a slide show in PowerPoint, adjust the duration of each slide in "Transitions", then export the slide show as an mp4. I hope this helps and I wish you the best with your video projects!
We actually didn't discuss it, but there's an option in the vertical toolbar on the right called "Speed". When you click on it, it provides you with a control that you can toggle back and forth to increase or decrease the playback speed of the respective clip.
Great tutorial. Very easy to follow. I've used many different video editing tools in the past to burn home videos to DVD. Clipchamp certainly has made it a whole lot easier to do. Editing and selecting the video content is a very long process in itself and I think Clipchamp has cut down some of the time in this procedure. So my question is, can you burn your MP4 file to DVD through Clipchamp? Thanks again for the great content.
Thanks so much! I'm really glad this tutorial was helpful for you. I'm not aware of any option for burning your file directly to DVD by using Clipchamp. The following is a link to the Microsoft Community where someone else asked this question: answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/how-do-i-create-a-dvd-using-clipchamp/d8042671-0423-4402-a5f6-5ac29f93a4dc
Thanks for checking out this video! At this time, we haven't explored Filmora. Unless something has changed recently, they don't offer a free version, only a 30-day free trial which places a watermark on all of the videos you export.
Sorry. Regarding my last comment, I meant could you please do a video for a voice over for a video you have just made. Hope that makes sense!! Thank you!!
Hello! Please stay tuned. We have an upcoming video that will discuss adding voiceover to a video in Clipchamp. We'll discuss both the text-to-speech function and the process of recording your own voiceover. Thanks very much for your feedback!
Hello! According to Microsoft, you should be able to import and edit 4K videos even in the free version of Clipchamp, but exporting a video project in 4K is supported only by the Clipchamp Premium Plan.
very abrupt start, you should've import video, edit it and then bring in other clips. I didn't see any options to give text a color background. You also should've talk some more about "recording" and how to show paragraphs next to the webcam on the same screen and flawlessly change the texts from one to another, like teacher talking to students and showing the quotes from the text book on the side and changing them like a slide.
