@@bwingbwinggwiyomi yup, I’m from further up North (I’m from Sunderland specifically but I don’t live there) and I can understand most British accents, Scottish accents are a little more difficult but after it being repeated once or twice, I understand what they’re saying when some others may not understand however many times it’s said. 😂

@@GamerToday british english is a dialect of english, as is american english. they arent languages in and of themselves but they have features that differ greatly and are therefore different dialects. its like latinamerican spanish vs iberian spanish. theyre the same language, but sound vastly different.

Yeah im scouse (from Liverpool) we have a bit of a mad accent. Don't think of the beetles, it's changed a lot since then. I'm actually listening to the beetles now too. But anyway I have Welsh family who live about a hour and a half drive away and whenever I go to visit or if I'm going to Wales for the weekend, the second I open my mouth the locals start speaking in the Welsh language and it used to piss me off so much. So I decided to learn the language so that I can catch them out next time they're talking about me! Also so that I can talk to my family in the language too, it's nice being able to talk about private things in public spaces where everyone can hear you but dosent understand. I have a unique ability to change from a strong scouse accent into the Welsh language😅

You are missing all of the verbal intonations for cockney and scouse, and the Yorkshire accent sounded far more midlands up to around Sheffield than anything.

The Liverpool accent was a very very delicate one. That was nothing like proper Scouse. Plus there isn’t a Yorkshire accent. Just as there isn’t a Lancashire accent. The accents change from town to town. Someone from Rochdale will sound different than someone from Preston.

There's different Scouse accents. I'm from Toxteth and mines softer with a deeper voice compared to my mum and dad who are from Canny Farm and Page Moss. The more North you go and further out into Knowlsey the more like radio static it gets

Gets more confusing for some as I’m even the same county has different accents. Towns 10 miles apart may pronounce words differently. My mum is from east Lancashire, my dad from Preston, and say things differently.

Can someone help me, im trying to figure out what accent my English teacher has, here is my interpretation of how she sounds from a time I have her a Christmas card please tell me if it rings any bells: “THENKK YEEEWWWWWWW, MERRY CRISHMASSSSS, owh-meh-god thenx vary much~ ! lmao as a native of South London (family history of over 300 years in S.w London) I think you should know in London there 3 distinct cockney accents the North the South and the east, west London doesn't have a distinct accent it's basically a posher sounding east London accent.

Man, I have a hard time distinguishing between them. Maybe this is part of why I can understand just about amyone as long as they're actually speaking English lol. An accent from UK? Understand you quite well. Australia? I got you. America or Canada? Easy. Ireland and Scotland? Definitely. English is your second language? As long as the words you're saying make sense, I most likely got you.

i remember as a kid that i was playing pvp w my cousins and brother. my cousins base was a close to a cave, and whilst fighting near their base i saw his head in the cave. my brother was next to me in the fight, so I knew it wasn’t him. because we were on LAN, i went next door to my cousins game. none of them were herobrine, i go back and herobrine is still there and i see my brother and cousins players. i logged off shortly after this, and even quit minecraft for a few months out of fear. there was also no one else in our world except for me my cousins and my brother. it wasn’t anyone else. it could have been herobrine. but i don’t know.
