When you're used to Rapid fire tutorials this talking style feels like RU-vid on 0.5 speed :-)) Congrats on beeing on Kenny's Channel. What an honour! And great tutorial as usual. Thanks to both of you!
If anyone wants to get into scripting in Reaper, Arya's videos with Leandro are the place to start. You'll learn to automate anything you can imagine, and create your own JSFX plugins!
Who is the man who hit the thumb down button and why ?? Seriously someone doesn’t like this? Thank you for this vidéo and for all the other ! Tellement précieux! Merci!!
Thanks Arya and Kenny, SWS tools are such time savers in my workflow(s) snapshots, LFO, auto track colors and many more, and reapack (not mentioned here) but each with great value, to me. Keep up the good work.
Such a gold mine, thanks for sharing! SWS is incredible, really takes Reaper to another level. My favorite feature is probably the automatic track coloring/icon!..
🤯Mind Blown. I cant help but feel that this video is a reply to my request on your last video! Regardless Thank you Kenny and Arya for this priceless information.
So happy for you to get a feature in kennys vids!!! You make awsome tutorials and give tips that not many other reaper channels offer! I love your content, keep going
Oh man, I'm making the transition from Ableton to Reaper and this just makes me want to dig into Reaper even further. It even adds some Ableton like features.
Impossible. I tried. Now I'm out of work. Well not really but it's hard to keep up with all the great infos from Kenny, Arya, Myk etc. Not to mention Jon with his constant news on the latest Reaper updates. Reaper is unfair. :-)
I'm about to order to T-Shirts: 1) "Alt on PC, Option on the Mac" 2) "..and Bob's your uncle" and both have "I learned something. I used it. See you next time. Thanks" on the back.:-)
Ahh man I should be doing this... as in, I have so many custom actions that are super useful for certain kinds of producers... these are an okay start for anyone who is just getting into basic recording, though. Good work!
Thanks again Arya! Great to see you guys working together. I had a feeling you somewhat changed your way of speaking towards Kenny's style: slower, with pauses to let it all sink in. On purpose 😎?
Hello congratulations for the tutorial, I wanted to ask you is it possible to create compilations mixed in reaper and if there is a function that synchronizes the two tracks with the same not automatically thanks
No matter what I do I can not get extensions to show in the drop menu above. Sws ext.used to work until I updated my mac. Any help here would be great! Thanks
hi i would really need help, on discord and other apps like reaper my mic sounds really bad , even thought on a mic testing site it sounds perfectly good , how can i fix it!
This may be a dumb question but I'm very new. I want to automate a wah pedal that's inside STL Amphub without automating everything or adding another track and routing it through there. I just wanna know if that's a possibility lol.
Yes indeed! The quickest way to do that, is to wiggle the pedal a bit, then go up to the fx window and go to Param. you will see the name of the parameter, and you can choose 'show track envelope' then write your automation there. Or if you want to perform it, you can put your track in touch mode, and just play the track as you perform the wah moves :)
@@IDDQDSound Awesome! Thank you so much. You saved me a ton of frustration. I've been trying to Google it for awhile but couldn't seem to find it on any forum.
What do I do when Mac OSX Catalina tells me I can't open reaper-sws-x86-64.dylib because OSX cannot guarantee it is free from malware and wants me to move it to trash?
Never mind, I got it. For those who haven't figured this out, go to the dylib and right-click. Chose open and then, basically, "open anyway". This unblocks the dylib and Reaper sees it. Next time you open Reaper, the extensions are still there and you can use them. This may be a no-brainer for some folks but I just discovered it and thought I'd pass it along.
Can you handle three billion one hundred fourty one million five hundred ninty two thousand six hundred and fifty three short cuts already or are you still working with Pro Tools ?
why is there no smart daw? should be able 2 create a track, pick up instrument, hit a note and boom... routed 2 that track. gain stage, tone shape etc... repeat for all tracks as needed and hit record. y no auto bpm? auto grids? etc... where are all the a.i. elements? we have plug n play everywhere. why no plug and record? y is the focus of a daws capabilities mostly put on the backend of recording? shouldn't it be mostly on the front end?
These tutorials are great! However, your new guy "IDDQD Sound" needs to change his voice presentation, kind of annoying voice. Also, Kenny, you are scaring my cat during your intro with your face smack up against the camera... DUDE!!!
What's a voice presentation? We all have a voice and genetics gave me an annoying one. If I could present voice as Morgan Freeman, I'd have done that in 2009 :)
