That was definitely a big up. Sometimes, it pays to be the tortoise. If you had got to the top faster, you would have been stuck with all those people. It is beautiful to see and experience the rain shower coming through. As for hiking boot, it is down to what is comfortable for you. I've been recommended different types in the past and not found them comfortable at all. I wear Merrills. But it's a comfort thing. 1968 is over 50 years ago. god, I'm old.
