YES IT DID! Im so sorry. I meant to put an update in the description! It stopped once i took it off the capture card and worked directly plugged into the display!
@@_pixelchris No problem. Thanks a lot. I just purchased one. It’s arriving less than two weeks. I hope this will be the end of my spiritual search for finding the perfect way of playing retro games 😂. I’ll be complete in perfect peace.
Any updates using the Elgato Capture Card? I have been working on a documentation processs for some Gameboy games, that have some unique features that cannot be emulated. So I need to capture from hardware.
I've used the doc with a Razer retro usb controller with no issues, but had some problems with basic "Snes" style USB controllers. Works on FPGA cores with roms as well, so that was nice, also. Good video and good tips.
Hey Chris, I am having issues using the Elgato HD60 and my AP docked... So When I plug it in like I would my switch it doesn't look near as clean as yours does on your monitor when you were talking about having it on your HD60. Did you change any settings on the Elgato software for it to look that way? Hoping by explaining my situation you can possibly help me get mine looking like it should. I have 2 Dell 27in 144 HZ 1ms G sync monitors just for more info. Thank you in advance!
Hi there! This video was filmed so long ago! But i believe there is options for different system presets in the settings! If i remember correctly, i swapped them back and forth to figure out which looked the cleanest! I hope this helps a little bit! 😅 its been so long since i recorded the footage!
Doesn't really look all that great. Sadly the output resolution is probably quite low looking at that, also no ultra thin grid to make the games look more appealing by simulating an CRT for example. I don't see any use for it other than to save some energy instead of using an GB/A/C emulator on a docked steam deck for example but even then, the steam deck only uses up about 15W so that's not really a big concern I guess.
The speakers i have are just from amazon but idk if they are sold anymore. That being said they arent anything special at all. I dont even use them for editing cuz headphones sound more accurate!
Great video! I would like to see if someone tests the Dock together with the DAC, I'm very curious about how it will behave. I would love to see GBA on a CRT.
I believe this is intended for collectors who want the best of the best, as well as people who could downsize & streamline their collection. Getting rid of a few old consoles or handhelds would cover the price of this plus tidy the space with fewer gaming systems, cords, and accessories laying around.
Gay dudes are the best. I wish there were more in my area. A gay guy friend would be awesome 😎 love my Analogue pocket. Get that thing filled with roms:)
@@_pixelchris great video sir! Pretty sure I subscribed if not I'll do it now. Definitely add roms to the pocket. I have the complete American SNES library, NES library and many others.
