He was a great boxer no doubt but his last two fights I hope they didn't happen. Even if he won 1st fight (draw would be more adequate) it wasn't by so many rounds and 2nd fight - these were low blows and how it should end? Kovalev should get time to recover. He would probably lose anyway but fight shouldn't end this way.

@@maciejbrodecki9667I have to be honest, Kovalev’s trunks were high that why Andre wasn’t penalized. Also I’ll be honest, Kovalev did not react like a guy who had been hit in the stones with a full force shot. He would have been far more dramatic and demonstrative. I’ve been hit low in the ring with force and that’s the kind of shot that makes you double over. Kovalev seemed to ride the low blow excuse after people on his team mentioned it. To me it looked like Ward had been beating his body up and rapidly losing energy. When Ward jumped on him he had an almost helpless look. He was in with ones f the most vicious body punchers in the world and he did throw anything back to keep Ward off. He basically quit and was looking for the ref to save him. Ward broke him down, and he’s never been the same fighter since.

@@brandnew9834 I watched few replays and to me it looked like 3 low blows. If referee gave 1 point from Ward let Kovalev rest and then Andre would knock him out there would be no doubt. I think Andre would win this even though I'm slav and I like Sergei myself I feel that Andrew would win the second one. Sergei was winning on cards but Andre broke him that round. The main problem is that years after people won't appreciate Andre as much as he deserves because these two wins were controversial. 1st one imo was a draw or 1-2 rounds win for Sergei. 2nd probably would end with K.O. on Sergei. The problem is that it's referee who messed up not Andre.

Wilder can only win if he evolves.. Fury and other fighters know Wilder struggles on his back foot..that one hitter quitter has become predictable to elite fighters. If Wilder studies the sweet science of boxing movements , footwork ,faints etc he will be a threat.. He needs to regroup and take that lost as a motivation to fight everyone at the top.
