Andrew is talking straight logic! Someone trying to go into a confrontation reasonably shouldn't put themselves in that situation. It's a mindset. Fighters go into a fight knowing they could die, that's why not everyone can be a fighter. Unless your prepared to go atomic, it's best not to go that route. Hey I have an audio question. How are you moving the mic around so much without any line noise? Do you set up an expander or gate in the software or is it all post?

My guess is those mics are dynamic mics and not condensers, so less prone to noise, set up for shock absorption, then using lots of compression and gating in real time and then in post. Probably using some izotope software for post, and I would imagine if there is a condenser setup anywhere, it's a room mic, but I doubt it.
