I love how they all cheer the most when Andrew and Martin nominations are presented. And the way Andrew hides his face on his hands is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I couldn't stop smiling when he was on the stage and in fact I can't stop smiling whnever he's on screen. For me, he really did deserved that award. The first time I ever saw him on screen I was shocked at how good an actor he was and he still keeps surprising me (the mind palace scene in series 3 is Oscar worthy).
YES That is by one of my all time favourite scenes. Both Benedict and Andrew demonstrated such brilliant acting and I want to give them both all the awards, for that scene alone, if not for the whole show.
Omg he was so nervous and shy and thankfull and i love the way he tries to thanks everyone and how much he admires Ben and i don't care that he's gay i want to marry him, i'm in love
andrew is AMAZING. he's acting is so invisible in that you forget he's acting. it's particularly evident in that sheriaty scene on the rooftop, where he's moriarty but a giggly and teenager-in-love one. on the other hand martin is also an incredible actor. i love his throat-clearing and subtle facial expressions.
That a such a humbling man could play such a monster on screen just goes to show that the BAFTA went to the right person. It couldn't have been anyone else.
I really think it is heartwarming how the cast + the production team cheers for him and are so obviously happy that he won. They remind me of a big family. And he's so shy and nervous, you just want to cuddle him. :)
I’m rewatching this in July 2019, having met him last week at the stage door⭐️ of Present Laughter, at the Old Vic. He is gracious, endearing, humble, adorable... all of the attributes you witness here. What a treasure is Andrew Scott !
