I would love writers an content creators to give more love to the non superstars like Edman, Teooscar Hernandez, Kiki Hernandez. Those guys were the spark in the postseason
Haters said the Dodgers will regret the money they poured into Ohtani ↓ *His economic impact was 1 billion $ (In fact acquiring him ended up being a lot of money for the Dodgers with no risk)* Haters predicted that the Dodgers would not make the playoffs despite spending a lot of money ↓ *The Dodgers headed into the playoffs with the highest winning percentage in MLB* Haters said the Dodgers would be eliminated in the NLDS ↓ *That didn't happen* Haters said the Dodgers would be eliminated in the NLCS ↓ *That didn't happen* Haters said, "Yankees in 4" ↓ *That didn't happen*
Shohei literally had a dislocated shoulder which requires a few weeks to heal. Every hard swing he took, you can see him wincing in pain. This guy talking like he knows how it feels to play with a dislocated shoulder in the World Series. Also when swinging left handed or right handed, the power also comes from the back hand. Without the back hand, it messes with your timing, speed and accuracy. Shohei actually had a good game 1 with 2 hard hits. He got injured in game 2 and he needed rest. Did you not see what happened to Freeman in the NLCS? He was terrible. What happened when he had rest? They should have let Ohtani rest on Game 4 during the punt game.
AJ always sneaks in passive aggressive comments about Ohtani. He talks a lot! Me! Me! Me! Ohtani is opposite, his Coach Kuriyama and Joe Maddon also knows he would never admit to pain. The pain tolerance of Ohtani is dangerously high, they needed to force him off day at times. This is a guy who hits dingers the day and days after pitching, when pitchers are so sore they hardly want to get out of bed. Shohei was playing with Pain killer injection and will be evaluated for possible surgery this off season.
Soto is overrated IMHO. He is superb in batting, arguably the best in the league. But his defense is below average, and he has no intention to improve his running part of the game.
Moreover, how can he (Soto) be worth more than Cole and Judge combined? 😂 Judge may had post season slump but this is a MVP and leading MLB is most offensive stats. Cole is a Cy Young Pitcher. As for Ohtani, he IS A PITCHER AND A HITTER AND MULTIPLE MVP player. Who does what nobody does. And he doesn’t cost his Franchise a penny. Coz September first year of service, dozen Japanese advertisers signed multi year contract with Dodgers combined over 700M!! While Soto doesn’t have that Global Brand value..will just be a huge expense for the franchise while they could get multiple talents to fill other positions..
AJ always sneaks in passive aggressive comments about Ohtani. He talks a lot! Me! Me! Me! (Obviously, AJ knows better than others. Ohtani is not smart coz he doesn’t speak English..😂) Ohtani played with painkiller injections and will be evaluated for surgery In offseason. Opposite of AJ, Ohtani never speaks about himself nor commenting on others.
Happy Halloween!!! The Scary thing is Mookie Wilson & Mookie Betts involved in the strangest 1st base blunders in playoff history with ground balls with eyes. Spooky or should I say Moooooky 👻😈🎃”]\
That’s not true, Dodgers could have used Landon Knack as the 4th starter! The series was much closer than a 4-1 series. All the games were evenly battled including game 4 which was a blowout late. Bothe teams were flawed but could overcome them with offense.
They probably don't don't get into the postseason without him and out of the nlds without him. He did good in game one and got hurt in game 2 and still affected the game just being in there.
Just Ohtanis name in the lineup gives the opposing team scrambling to strategize around pitching to him and giving the pitcher anxiety that he get sloppy after luckily passing Ohtani so the other Dodgers can do their job
