Let me know (or the city forester in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and elsewhere) if you'd like some might acorns, maple (sprout like weeds in lava covered beds) or black walnut seeds. I have neighbors... including squirrels that cut acorns and can hit me in the back before I get out of the truck. (formerly out of Sitka and Cordova, Alaska, retired back in the Northwest (and still working, for less or no pay, but more psychic income/joy) Enjoying the Australian guitar built with 150 year old redwood planted singly as an experiment by their Botanist General, and taken down as they begin to fall over. The Taylor 814 played at church was finally in need of being restrung, so my guitarist friend put a set of new Santa Cruz Guitar Co. Parabolic Tension strings on it, and it sounds fantastic! His luthier likes D'Addarios. but admitted, "Those are really good." It's the first "Snow day" for our schools, as I received the district text while working Tuesday 6-midnight at my downtown school as the part-time night custodian. Beware the question, "You're retired. Ever consider part-time work?" I work like Dad's ranch projects, "We'll be done when it's finished well." Cheers!
