Percy Hynes White's character, "Andy Strucker", can be seen throughout the series drawing pictures of wolves. This is, of course in reference to his great grandparents, Andreas and Andrea von Strucker, who were called Fenris (The Wolf) from whom Andy and his sister Lauren inherited their powers.

I always thought that it was simple Lauren got the control aspect of the power. Able to pull in tiny little molecules in the air to create a shield, able to hide her ability for months after gaining it. Andy on the other hand is almost all power. His first run with powers ends with him nearly destroying a school on accident. Having almost zero control. Though I don't wish for a season 3 I always enjoyed Andy's powers
