An outline of how I wired and coded my anemometer for use in the "Build it Yourself" Backyard Weather Station (Personal Weather Station) project. Coding was done in Arduino IDE for the Adafruit Huzzah Feather 8266 and incorporates a battery for use without a cable during validation.
