Avg 2 ast a game is not really great no matter what position you play. no need to try to make every stat sound good just to support your argument. Her points and rebounds are enough to make her case for Roy. She is not a great passer period and she never will be. It's not what she is out there for.

I will come to the point with facts...... 8 games does not portend for will be the Rookie of the year. It would make more sense to wait until the season is over to decide. However, since these Sports talking heads need to create an audience, they are presenting what appears to be the latest contrived controversy, they are talking about who will be the ROY. But ok. Reese leads in one that's one statistical category, rebounds. Clark is 13th in total pts scored. # 1 in pts scores by a Rookie with 234. The closest other player has 208..... Reese is 35th.with 130 pts scored. In Assists, Clark has double the total assists that Reese has, Clark is only 4.5 rebounds behind Reese in total Rebounds. Clark has broken 5 WNBA records and she is on par to break three more. Reese has broken one , more double/doubles. In totality Clark beats Reese in every Statistical category. In Sunday Nites game Clark missed 7 min of the 4th quarter. At the end of the 3rd Clark at 16 and Reese 15. If Clark even hits the lowest # of baskets, ^ points she ends up with 22 to Reese 25. However, for some reason the Fever coach chose to ice out Clark. The Sky coach stayed with her best player and the results speak for themselves. One final fact related to Reese's latest surge. During the first 10 games she was struggling, and she called out her own players and coaches. That is to the good for her. CC should do the same. I was a point guards and of course a guard is going to have more turnovers, you have the ball over 70% of the time. her basketball IQ is the best I've ever seen for women's basketball. Angel is no doubt a great player and she should be considered but I've never seen a player like Caitlin Clark. part of her 3 point shooting is coaching, she has to feed the post as well, but you watch, when she becomes a little more selfish and takes more shots. The last time they played the Sky, how is it that she only had 11 attempts, she should be getting at least 15-18 attempts per night. Angel is a great rebouding force who can sometimes score a good amount and plays with heart but Caitlin is something very special. Both need tons of development but Angel plays her best as does Clark, it's hard to go against Clark. And please keep in mind, Clark is not focused on scoring right now. She's focused on team bonding and team uplifting with her playmaking. Her playmaking is on a high level, maybe higher than her scoring. If and when she decides to focus on scoring, she'll score a lot more as she's become much more efficient in her last 4-5 games.
