That phone call that Angelica made to the Cog’s guy at the three minute mark I still bust up to this very day, laughing at that scene!!

I honestly like the ending to this one. While she was trying to do good for "selfish" reasons, the fact that she acknowledged what she did was wrong and tried to fix it at all as a step in the right direction. Adding the coal in the present was still enough for her to see that it didn't offset everything but getting the present rewards her for trying still. Also a big difference between her and DW is that Angelica is under 3 years old. Still in the stage to still learn consequences existing as a whole.

This is where it centers Angelica’s Path Of Redemption (ALMOST… 😒), as she learns and discovers that “Sometimes, Trying To Be Good Is As Important as ‘Being Good in the first place”.

Legendary voice actor Tony Jay as Santa( well Angelica’s nightmare Santa) and the guy Drew hired. But this Christmas special I remember it randomly aired in summer and that’s where I first saw it. Plus the intro had a holiday adaptation to the music playing

What the hell kind of lesson is "trying to be good is as good as being good???" I'd understand if Angelica was in some sort of no-win situation where every realistic choice is "bad" but 9 times out of 10 (hell, 10 times out of 10 for Angelica), "trying" to be good is not good enough.

If you ever make Angelica Can Eat It into a full series, the first episode you should cover should be Angelica Breaks a Leg, the one where Angelica causes Stu to have a nervous breakdown after faking a leg injury to get attention when she found out that Tommy, Stu, Didi, and Lou's worlds did not revolve around her like her dad's did, and a stubborn Doogie Howser ripoff enables Angelica's scheme by not taking the few seconds to READ THE NAME ON THE X-RAY. Angelica can eat it... and so can Doogie Howser.

Also never knew this episode existed, even though it is five years older than myself. But seeing it now, I do have to wonder if the scene at 0:26 could have possibly been a source of inspiration for the "Throne of Lies" scene in "Elf" eleven years later. Not to mention the concept of "Home Alone-ing" the house is a very fitting comparison, given how this episode aired just over two weeks (12/6/92) after the second film in that series was released.

Santa: Oh Angelica, I don't deliver coal to the kids on the naughty list. I don't even enforce the naughty list (Krampus enters) that's his job. Drew (as Angelica is dragged to hell): Face it kid you were going to hell anyway (starts celebrating that he's finally free of the pre-K Terror) Santa: Not so fast Mr. Pickles, there's still that matter of you bankrupting your best friend.

I think Angelica would be on the naughty list for more than just that trick she played on the twins

Since we've got a series for DW and one for Angelica, and we're hoping for one for Caillou, I think it would be fair to add one more about another boy character, to balance it out, and this may not work as well as the kids' shows but my vote is for Bart Simpson, he's less of the spoiled-bratty kind of bad but by far the worst in his own way, although he at least does some good sometimes.

At least Santa gave Angelica a lump of coal, acknowledging she's naughty, and she does learn somewhat of a lesson. D.W. continues to be rewarded for her shitty behavior and learns nothing, making her forever irredeemable.

I always thought Angelica was a little brat, even when I was a little kid. Pre-K Karen lol they should do a spin off when they are full grown adults and Angelica is just a Karen. Hopefully a future episode of "Angelica Can Eat it" will be of 'Angelica Breaks a Leg', where Angelica pretends to break her leg so Stu and Didi will tend to her, and gets her wish due to a mix-up in the medical records. That episode is infamous for the scene where she makes Stu make chocolate pudding for her at 4:00 A.M. (because he's lost control of his life), only to decide she doesn't want it after all. Karma catches up to her when Charlotte breaks her leg for real and Angelica is forced to help Drew cater to her. ("Angelica, do you know how to make chocolate pudding?")

When I was a really little kid my mom used to threaten to invite angelica to my birthday parties and i'd reasonably get upset

well didi is oblivious to most things angelica does,I think she's only been caught once by didi if I remember right,though my memory is pretty bad so I can only remember her getting caught when she confessed to the babies that she broke tommy's clown lamp,there might more but I need a memory refresher XD (also since I mentioned it,I hope you do cover that episode with tommy's clown lamp)

So before the twin tower attacks you would hear people occasionally say nine-eleven, instead of 911. What Angelica is asking for is a toy version of a red cross first aid kit. These were fairly popular at one point but the Red Cross is a professional organization that you can't just reference in your media. 911 is just the chosen emergency line number for emergencies so it is free to use without worry. I would even say this was a bit of a purposeful joke ( not the terrorist attack refrence since that wasn't a thing yet and no one without a sick mind would distastfully force a non-existant connection to make their own joke about it aging poorly..) about how some toys tend to sidestep legal repercussions through generalizing loopholes. It's not a red cross first aid kit toy ..no,no,no..its a 911 emergency kit toy! Any likeness to a red cross branded product for safety is merely a coincidence! Yeah..haveing been first aid/cpr/aed trained/certified by the red cross, I can tell you they are very particular about legality. They are extra careful about who uses their name and branding as well as how it is used. Being an organization taking the liability risk of millions of potential incidents each year due to their implemented trianing and products, they know their shit. If you are first aid certified when you attempt to help someone and it doesn't go as planned, you are legally covered by them as long as you gebuinly attempted to use your training as given. You can imagine how insane and co pelx that kind of thing can be. They also have a history of situations like the family of the Hiemlich maneuver not being so pleased in it being named after their family member deceased from choking and legally forcing the term to no longer be used in training. They wouldn't just allow the branding to be assoxiated with a toy..especially one designed to look like a real life product for emergency health and safty..sure in hindsight its a bit awkward but there are plenty of times where a term was fully innocent or meant something completely different at the time it was used in a show. This joke is the equivalent of a dumb 90s kid snickering every time they watched the Flinstones theme song because it said "well have a gay ol' time!" Maybe grow up and stop stealing Jon Tron's clips for your own youtube show..speaking of not aging well..once one of the biggest comedians of youtube, then controversial figure and now a lazy exploit by parasitic nobody youtubers he's all but back at the ranks of..
