My belief is that a lot of Angelina's magic comes from her unconditional love of music. She is my favorite vocalist of my 62 years and it is not even close.

Yeah, IKR, a real JAWDROP moment... Extremely talented young girl. ANGELina was 3 yrs when she first saw Simon Caldwell on one of his talent shows, and she asked her mother if she could sing for him. Her mom, replied that she was too young. 4 yrs later she audition on NGT, couple mnths later she wins the show. 5+yrs after that she gets a phonecall from AGT w an invite to audtiton for the Champions version. I heard that the judge you said was very handsome is the son of Michael Jackson (maybe adopted). He later became great friends with Angelina's family. Actually, it didn't even start there. She's been singing since 18 months old, and began researching and learning jazz since three. As far as videos of performances and rehearsals, there are at least two of her when she was SIX singing in an actual studio sound room. One is of her singing Adele's "Rolling in the Deep"! The other is of her singing Tom Jones' "I Who Have Nothing"! Remember, when she was S-I-X! INCREDIBLE!
So glad you guys decided to go to the NGT show. The other two major songs she sings are Bang, Bang (Nancy Sinatra) and Summertime (Ella Fitzgerald). By now I believe you know about the barefoot situation and her participation in many charitable events. This audition of Gloomy Sunday is a classic and will never be forgotten. When you play if again there are so many things a listener can take for granted until you snap out of it and realize it was a 7 yr old girl performing! What were you doing when you were 7? By the way, Angelina was singing Whitney Houston in the crib with a mic at 1 1/2 yrs old! No lie. It's on film!

I’m a big fan of Angelina Jordons, not only for her incredible gift but for the humble and well grounded young lady she is. There is a home videotape of her on RU-vid at a preschool Xmas sing song and the teacher is singing Xmas carols... the camera pans back and forth from teacher to Angelina .....her little facial expressions at having to sit and listen to someone that obviously can not sing too well is so funny ...then the camera pans back to the singing teacher once again ... the camera pans back to where Angelina “was” sitting... there was an empty chair! Angelina has left the building.....yes, this little Diddy then four year old could not bear to listen to the teachers voice.... funniest thing eVerrr!

Her first public show with Gloomy Sunday was an astonishing event for those who lived it at that moment, the emotion one feels for her first performances, in which she wonderfully connects her voice and talent with aspect of that little bird playing, it is very big and intense and leaves you permanently marked. To think that at 7 years she was perfectly capable of reading, analyzing and making contact, in a foreign language, without any doubt or fear, with the public and with the talented judges seems impossible. She convinced her mother to sign her up for Talent because she was confident ... at seven years! In the days following the performance, her online video recorded over 5 million views in a country, the Norway, which has as many inhabitants ... 😁 😁 The first judge, at the end of this song, said what remains for me the simplest and most suitable description of Angelina, "you are the music", there is nothing more true. ❤️ The artistic path of this incredible little girl over the last 6 years has been wonderful, impossible not to be enchanted. Diana Ankudinova - “A Russian National Treasure” maybe a true contralto. Courtney Hadwin - Throwback rocker with style. Charlotte Summers - A young Spanish Jazz Pop singer with real charisma. Celine Tam - Chinese Pop singer with amazing control. Angelica Hale - The powerhouse miracle from Atlanta Grace Vanderwaal - Singer, songwriter and now actress. Darci Lynn - Singing ventriloquist. I've been watching talent shows on TV for years, and for me, Angelina's 4 performances on NGT at 7/8 years of age are the most remarkable thing I have ever witnessed. After this performance was aired in Norway, it immediately went viral with 5M views on YT. But her next 3 performances are equally as impressive, if not more so. Of course, she went on the win the show in a landslide, getting almost half of all the votes. She's prodigy and a musical genius. And lots more. The young guy asking her questions is a Norwegian rapper who says he is Michael Jackson's son (and seem to be accepted by Jackson's son and to have spent a lot of time at Neverland). Imagine being beaten by a 7 year old (she turned 8 before she sang Summertime and won). He asks if she knows what this song is about because it is also called the Hungarian Suicide Song.

David, you hit it on the head when you said listening to Million Miles is cathartic. It always provokes an emotional response in me, both physically and spiritually. Along with the tears, comes a feeling of calmness and peace.
