You're right. she is incredible! A little information about this video. She changes the musical arrangement to make it her own but stays true to the original artist on many of her cover songs. You see her making changes on the music sheet, the music director smiles, her grandma wishes her luck and Screamin Jay Hawkins is on the candle. She requested this video done in black and white like the original Jay Hawkins version. She has done covers of Adele, Whitney Houston, Lana Del Rey and many others that are better than the original artist. Not to mention Amy Winehouse. From the time I first heard Angelina, way back at her first audition on Norway's Got Talent, she has amazed me.
Always a pleasure to see someone watch this performance for the first time. She was 7 when she began on NGT, 8 when she won. Here she's 9 and a couple of months. In my opinion, she's the best living vocalist on the planet today. I've been a fan for about three years now and I have to listen to at least one song from her every day, or my day simply isn't complete. You were asking about other Norwegian singers, so here's one, also quite young and very talented. She has a ton of wonderful material out there on RU-vid, but unfortunately, mostly put out by Vevo, so not that good for reacting to. Vevo has an unfortunate habit of often coming down hard on reactors who use their videos. However, like Angelina, she also performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony, though not at quite as young an age as Angelina. Angelina sang there in 2014, and was followed by this girl in 2015. Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not, I find it very intriguing that Lou Rawls, the American Jazz & blues singer legend, passed away the same day Angelina is born 😊 Loved your reaction guys!!!
Great reaction. I always enjoy seeing people react to Angelina singing that song because her vocals are so unexpected for a 9 year old. You asked for other artists from Norway's Got Talent. Here's one from 2015 that I've always liked. Patrick Jørgensen rapping his song Million Questions about his mother that died of cancer.Very emotional but very well done. 9yrs old during this performance. Our BAREFOOT PRINCESS will continue to wow you everytime you listen to her because she is not known for the "Angel with a Thousand Voices" for nothing. She literally sounds different in every cover she does and at the same time there is no mistaking her sound. Absolute Genius. Please check out her cover of Rhianna's STAY.
