Before discovering Angelina's magic voice in 2014, I was like those two guys in this video plummeting into a hole. Since then, I have reversed course and am flying back out of it. With God's help, Angelina's voice, and personal effort, it is possible to rise again.
I consider that rendition to be a beautiful homage to Elvis, who sang that hymn countless times, notably in 1966, 1972 and 1977. But, knowing Angelina and her vibrant Christian heritage, it is first and foremost a reverential tribute to God Himself in His awesome creation. In all of Angelina's RU-vid videos, the lowest note she sings is a B2 in this song. The highest is a G5 in Unchained Melody. That's a little over a 2-1/2 octave range. I imagine she has increased that as she has gotten older. I wonder what it will be once she hits vocal maturity in her late 20s. Regardless, she kills everything she sings anyway!
