True storytelling is given, a gift, and I much agree few are given the fire and even fewer are allowed to use it wisely. You may be surprised to learn that at least a few hundred reaction channels have reviewed this incredible performance by Angelina Jordan. One may conclude from this that Angelina would be widely known, but if you took a poll, perhaps only 15% to 20% of the public would know of her. We are certain it takes more than just exposure from reactions to achieve greater awareness. . Just a bit of education should ensure that fans support both of you! A few comments: 1. Amazingly insightful lyrics, especially for a 14 year old. 2. In an interview, she said it was a relief to pull her feelings into this song, and that the tears flowed during recording. 3. This was written and released in the first COVID year. She dedicated it to all experiencing loss. and 4. This song led to her signing with Republic Records. Her producers Stargate invited the head of RR to the studio to hear this song. She is very good at conveying emotions and storytelling. She makes you feel the word: she puts in her heart and soul and touches ours. As curious as we all are about her album, I guess we have two songs from it already. Very promising, so far so good. Both, very different, are absolute hits if any single blows her up at some point. The writing is impressive in them, given the obvious skillset, musicality and that unreal voice, we obviously are going to be super impressed with the album, and await to find out if something from it blows her up so that everyone can enjoy it. She deserves it all whenever it comes.
I am a big fan of both music reaction channels and my favorite musical artists. I continue to educate myself how to best support them. A large percentage of viewers have no idea how to support a RU-vid channel (reaction or artist). When I watch a music reaction video (watching the entire video helps the most), give it a like and post a comment or reply to comments, those actions help boost the analytics for that reaction channel, but do nothing to help the artist. I will also subscribe to the reaction channel if they are like minded to help the artist. I also want to help boost the analytics for the artist and encourage others, who also enjoy the artist, to watch the entire original video, give it a like and post or reply to a comment. Of course a reaction channel can educate more people than I can by just posting comments. It may be a dream, but I believe once the vast majority of music reaction channels actively educate and encourage viewers to subscribe to the artists' channel and to watch, like and comment on all their videos, some artists and record companies may ease their copyright restrictions. I know for sure, if reaction channels only promote themselves, then copyright restrictions will not be eased and likely become more restrictive.
