@Daniel Martin me too. If that song was released by a band other than Blink, everyone would agree that it's a meh song. It was nice seeing and hearing Tom and Mark back after all that had happened, but that song is no where near as good as songs Tom has released in recent years with AVA.
@@ryanteacher8134 I couldn’t agree more. I’ll never forget waiting for the first AVA album to drop and watching the trailer in my dorm room in 05. I went to their first show at the glasshouse in Pomona and third show in Ventura! I’m a massive Tom fan, definitely my idol growing up!
@@ryanteacher8134 yeah, by that song you can easily tell that his motivation and inspiration on the new blink stuff is not even close to what we see in this video unfortunately. But I'll be glad if there are 2-3 good songs on the album. Can't hope for more

this album leaked when i was a senior year in high school. I burned it on to a cd and my life was completely changed. Sounds cliche but it's the truth . The lyrics to the opening track are incredible
Man, I wish you and I could get high in a room together and talk about just how life changing this album was. It still is. It's been an anchor, and basically a bible to me since 2005, and as I've grow up as a person over the years. It's more than music. It's more than just another album to be mixed in with, or compared to by any other album or artist that's ever existed. It's a fucking masterpiece, and a love Tom for it, no matter how shitty or subpar and other song he ever writes may be.
Truth. A lot of people gave Tom shit for leaving Blink but bro just wanted to evolve as a musician and I’m so happy he did. AVA is one of the few times I can say that a band really changed my life. I loved Blink, but AVA musically kinda shat all over most of what they did in my opinion lol
You do realise Adam's parts were literally the last thing to be recorded before they finished production. All the drums you hear on Tom's guitar recordings or whatever, were temp programmed by Tom and Critter.
Nah we’re still here it’s just for whatever reason Angels and Airwaves is still pretty underrated or not known to the masses. Also with Tom going back to Blink; AVA might be on hold for awhile
