He rules from emotion, fitting the sentence to the person, and does not display an extensive legal knowledge. This works well for the court he is in, where the majority of cases seem to be automatically generated citations from revenue raising traffic cameras, that most reasonable people would agree should be expunged or reduced. However, this attitude would be lacking in more hotly contested criminal cases, or in cases that involve complex laws. In one of these videos, where a member of one of the Native American tribes of New England is challenging a ticket on jurisdictional grounds arguing whether a Rhode Island law would apply on what he claimed to be tribal lands, Caprio explains to him the other courts to which he could escalate the appeal, and says very decisively "We won't be deciding on a precedent here", acknowledging that such complex legal challenges are not those he is taking on.

The first woman is a very tough one. She didn't try to shed a single tear for what she's been through, but when she got help at the end of the court, her eyes burst into tears that I believe she's been held from the start of the day.

@@comedywriter8408 well thank you for your wishes, i have been through a lot, i have tried everything i can, i reminded myself that i'm strong and i met a lot of bad people in my hardest time who does not understand my problems.Especially in my Job.Sometimes That makes me very upset and i feels so uncomfortable till now.But i'm healed day by day. I have a very less problem now.I have solved my problems one by one.I am recovering.I also forgave all the people who hurted me in my work place. I put myself together now.

Holy snot on a doorknob, I'd change my Sir name from Irish to Italian, get a whole slew of parking tickets, a couple of Red Lights and get a boot 'ta Boot' just to stand and say. Thank you for the kind words. I didn't know who Judge Caprio was until I had toe surgery last Fall. I flipped through the channels and there he was. I was blown away that he listens to the people and gives them a break. I work with the public and they have paid it forward to me so I did the same. Inspector Quinn and the judge play off each other very well. Super fun to watch!!

It is wonderful to see how being in a difficult situation has moved Angie to think beyond her pain to help a complete stranger. It's situations like this that help me put my own "perceived" problems in perspective; I got nothin' to complain about. Judge Caprio, Inspector Quinn and other officers of the court, I will probably never get to meet you but you are an inspiration to us on the other side of the globe.

What’s admirable is how the judge can very quickly keep reassessing his own judgement, taking in new context as it comes. That’s a remarkable skill. That’s also some great emotional intelligence. He doesn’t dwell on an emotion and Let’s the context reshape new views. Amazing

I watch Judge Caprio often & I’m so disappointed he’s on longer on Caught in Providence. I don’t understand when this Judge shows so much compassion & helps so many. This show should definitely continue. My hope was to go see him in court.

Actually it's best he doesn't enter politics. The decision POTUS makes when it comes to war and general economic decisions doesn't lend to being compassionate to all. He's a great judge. He's making a difference right where he is. God has him there.

This world is full of upside down . Yes I love god thankyou for quoting the bible scriptures . You are write judge .... your a beautiful man I’ve been in and out of courts for years threw my first divorce . I’m been homeless twice for unforeseen circumstances. And the judges were horrible . But this judge is caring So true when you love god and you give . You get ten fold in return . Your a great team . Keep it up .. ...love .

Dear Judge I love your wisdom n i want to call you Solomon of modern bible. I'm not a lawyer or judge, just an ordinary vehicle mechanic working to bring food in kitchen. I help people through my works without charging much, to some people I work for free according to their living conditions. Some how I feel satisfy more then eating nice food by doing this.
