A guide to make a perfect Snowboy / Snowman character in Animal Crossing New Horizons ☃️
►'Like' for SNOWBOY ☃️
Today we take a look at the latest seasonal update in Animal Crossing New Horizons as we recap some of the new features coming to the game as early as tomorrow.
Many players will finally experience heavy snow-showers and see snow settle on their Islands for the first time. This brings with it some new crafting material, snowballs and a new snowman character.
Using the Snowballs, you can create and build a Snowboy.
Snowboy is a charming special character that knows a lot about crafting during the Winter and if built correctly will reward players with large Snowflakes and DIY Recipes.
Today we breakdown every step you need to take to make a Perfect Snowboy every time, without fail to maximise your rewards.
These Snowboys only last for 4 days until they melt away. Do you have any space on your Island to build Snowboys? Let us know 🥰

I could be wrong, but it sounds like the perfect snowboy just needs the head 90% of the body, so would that mean smaller snowboys are possible, but it's harder to get it right? If anyone knows more and can confirm or disprove this, that would be awesome.

If you want to see the funniest thing ever, "accidentally" use the body as the head and the snowboy will be super mad at you for giving him a huge head. He yells at you, and it's darn funny.

Yep same. I have a friend who time travels a lot and luckily she gave a ton of large snow flakes but I still don't have any recipes. Now im trying to decide if I want to destroy a part of my beloved island to make an ugly open field, or if if I should just buy all the recipes on nookazon 🤷🏼‍♀️ both honestly seem like a huge headache 😒

Same basically. I have some small areas with a little open space, but they are very difficult to navigate. My hope is my snowballs spawn over the place that used to be my sundial since that is the easiest area to work with. I might close up a tiny pond I have in the park so I can add snowboys there.

The new working method is two tiles wide, 11 long and make sure the first snowball is right next to your path, and centered with it. I tried and failed the 10/1 path five or six times, this is the third day where 11/2 has worked perfectly.

I know right. I have a S Hemi island and I can relate. I wish I had this back in June as those things can be a real pain to make. I didn't complete them all because I got the 90% perfect so many times and it was so frustrating

They need to give us the option to “kill” snowboys and try again. Cuz unless your a time traveler it takes up to 24 hours to make one. And 96 hours for them to melt and they take up a pretty decent amount of room on my island. Like rip

If you don't get a perfect one, just close your game out before it saves. It will reset and nothing bad will happen.

I’ve been trying this for a couple of days already and haven’t gotten the perfect snow boy. I added eleven tiles instead of ten and it worked, finally! To everyone struggling try adding an extra tile!

I’ve made this method myself to always make a perfect snowboy. The first ball I make as tall as our villager except the head. Then the second snowball I make it about the size as our head. It has worked every single time for me

i make them by counting the amount of time i spend rolling the balls- i’ve found 30seconds for the body and 20 for the head works for me, but i definitely like the looks of this technique!

I always make one snowball reach the bottom of my ear, and the other one reach just about the top of my eye, and it’s worked every time!!

I’m only seeing one set of snowballs, but the other character on my switch isn’t connected to a Nintendo account so idk if that has any affect on anything.

You only get to make one Snowboy per day, but the other profiles can talk to that Snowboy as well. If it's perfect, all profiles can get a DIY. Usually different ones!

You can only build one Snowboy per day, per island. Not one her villager. However, each villager can talk to the Snowboy, and if he is perfect, he will give a giant snowflake and a DIY. I also believe that he can give different DIY's to different villagers on the same day, so might be a useful tip for farming them, if that's correct. (Although there' no rsh to get all of them)

I was struggling with this 10 tile method. After more than a few failed attempts I've been experimenting with either adding or subtracting one tile (wasnt sure whether the imperfect head was because it was too big or too small) and ended up with the conclusion that I needed an extra tile. So I make the body and head as big as I can (until I struggle to start pushing it after pausing), I put one of them where I want the snowboy built, make 11 pathing tiles, roll the head to the other end of the path and by the time it reaches the body it has been the perfect size for me every time now. Good luck and I hope that helped.

@@Mr_Fancypants although I think the reason why Halloween had such a large amount of preparation was because of the items require to be actually grown but idk for the Christmas stuff

Thanks for the info! My first snow boy was imperfect but he said he would overlook that as it was our first meeting and gave me the snowflake and DIY anyway. Now I know how to make him....PERFECT.

Count to 45 seconds when rolling one snowball by your hands for the body. Count to 35 seconds when rolling the second ball by hand for the head. Works everytime for me! :)
