Animated Sci-fi short film "TRIBE the future of human" 

Feel like introduction of different race for strategy games...

This reminds me of the sorts of trailers you might get for a game where you can join one side or the other. The interesting thing is that, despite diametrically opposite goals and philosophies, both sides say very similar things.

This deserves more development. It’s a great idea. Please don’t stop.

Looks like an advertisement from a dystopian future.

Not long ago, Steven Spielberg wanted to presue a new movie called Roboapocalypse now that CGI has improved greatly this is exactly what I felt the movie would appear. Great work team

Nice art and concepts. Reminds me of Bruce Stirling's Schizmatrix, where humanity has divided into two clades: the mechanists (who use machines, and come across pretty poorly in Schizmatrix) and the shapers (who use biotech). I'd have both these clades in your movie exploring space, and creating different types of habitats, according to their different bodies. e.g. the android humans wouldn't need air or food, but would still need radiation shielding, manufacturing, and power generation. They would create all sorts of technological and eletronic marvels. The biotech humans, the shapers, would specialise i amazing and beautiful biospheres and all sorts of genetically engineered organisms

The Sci Fi Genre is spectacular. Like story like Akira, Ghost in The Shell, Alita - Battle Angel, Evangelion, Cyberpunk etc... In a way this inspires some people to create their own stories.

I love the concept sounds like conflict is unavoidable. War inevitable.

Interesting concepts, better story telling than some of the recent 3D CGI work ive seen. You could present episodes in this art style and develop your storys more, almost like an animated audio book. I for sure would like to see more ;)

This would make an excellent feature film. Perhaps a trilogy tracing the start of the split between the two groups, the war and the current situation with an eye to how the relationship evolves going into the future.

This is reminiscent of a world concept from an old Rollplayer magazine I read decades ago. The Shaper Machinist setting, where one branch embraced becoming machines, the other shaping life itself. The dichotomy between these groups caused conflict. I almost expected this to be the trailer for a Kickstarter for such a setting.

I love the science fiction artwork and I'm looking forward to seeing the story of Tribe fleshed out. This could be a cool game concept as well as a sci-fi series. I like exploring posthuman and transhuman ideas and seeing them depicted in art, video and movies. I hope Tribe turns into a world we can enjoy and explore through your creative mind.

Weird that they don't see the benefit of both sides. For Anima, Meri is a new source of human. For Meri, Anima is a path to immortality. You could be a Meri that keep uploading your memory to the cloud and when you died you can become an Anima. A perfect way to solve conflict.

Technology is the future of technology. If humans lose the ability to tell the difference between themselves and technology then they're not human anymore.

That was well done. Both sides sounded like advertisements to entice people to believe the best of that society. It didn't sound like a member of that society. It sounded like the Government of that society telling a stranger how good everything is.

Easy to imagine future tech compatibility wars... Someone always wants to promote a standard that isn't compatible with everyone else and a whole new ecosystem ends up built around it. Of course, that is sometime necessary for progress. Just hope the rivalries stay friendly.... It would still suck to be told "you're not compatible with our society." Or worse, when your friends or relatives adopt the competing standard and you can no longer interact with them....

The drawback to understanding one another more fully is the more you understand the more you loath humanity.

Frankly it seems more like an advertisement than anything resembling a story. Of course it could also be a preamble. As other commenters have stated, the different groups seem far more similar than different. Each group wants to attain perfection.

That was amazing concept. But I have one question, are you taking in any ideas from the public? I have one I would like to share. But first, what I understood is some humans uploaded their conscious through the Link and became full machines, another tribe chose to become Cyborgs, but what was missing were the real humans who found it blasphemous to embed the technology inside their bodies. They use it as armor or the way people use it today without inserting it inside their bodies. These are the real humans and they use robots as slave.

This graphic style reminds me of Hajime Sorayama / Boris Vallejo, which is pretty cool. It would look even better if it was fully animated.

HG Wells had divergent post-Human species in the ''Time Machine'' [1895]. He called them the Eloi and the Morlocks.

It kind of gives the feeling of an Infomercial for Humanity that is giving those in the undecided column of which choices they may take in going forward with their lives. One path keeps you predominantly flesh and blood working toward a goal of personal perfection as an individual or group. Whereas the other choice allows you to for go the flesh and blood where you upload your consciousness too become an immortal machine where you can upload memories for storage that you can access at anytime all while making room for more memories and knowledge with which to retain for yourself or share with others. In this case your working towards perfection as a species. An amazing concept when you think of the possibilities for either path a person could choose to live

Yeah it is a trailer for some game more than an animated short film. It is an introduction to something, not a full movie.

Me, a city of androids was found not in a giant ship nor hidden in the desert, but in a tiny motherboard chip, all those people in a tiny spect, and there are more of those chips in a box only a few centimetres wide. But my idea is not polished yet, you guys can tell tips or something, this video really inspired me lol

An interesting short sci-fi film! I like how both the northern and southern side place an emphasis on technology but both go about it in different ways. For instance, the north features cyborgs and clean air but the south has humans with some minor computer implants and living in a polluted environment. Looking forward to seeing more of your content! Humans developing into two separate species in the future! What a clever idea! And one for which we have to thank H.G. Wells in his novel "The Time Machine", written in.... 1895.

The machine angle sounds very ominous and dare I say even low key threatening, almost as if they are stating they are above the fleshbags they used to be. Meri doesn't sound too far either, but instead of becoming immortal and stagnant machines they choose to be cyborgs and bio-engineered chimeras.

Another plug in and become Borg Drones advertisement.

Two different varieties of Cyborg .

For the anima the storage group is most likely to be more technologically advance. Every new physically experience is uploaded into a central cloud and where they would meet and each gain new experience to instantly enhance their individual selves. The universe is an endless source of experience. The downside is that the experiences can be easily controlled in a negative way by exposure to negative experiences.. The meri group is limited to each individual social circle or what he decide to see, hear or feel. While having all they technology to maximize the physical being and retaining unique individuality the downside is the gap between individual experience and uptake of any shared knowledge. A meri member can gain knowledge of an impending anima attack and choose not to share it.

It is ironic how the superb robot race feels very human/mundane since they all look and behave the same, whereas the humans in South City seem to have more of a grip on things

So North goes all-in from the beginning and South vaguely pretends to be different, but is merely a bit more attached to retaining human faces. Like comparing Coca Cola to Pepsi, right down to the essentially identical marketing slogans. Slick looking slide-show with a good sound design.
