I feel like they should rehire Scott Innes for Scooby (keep Matthew Lilard as Shaggy and keep Frank Welker as Fred) because I let my dad hear Scott Innes as Scooby and he actually thought it was Don Messick, and my dad was born in 1967, so he grew with Scooby Doo Where Are You? and the other old Scooby Doo cartoons.
Don and Frank are the GOATs. Keith Scott, meh. Hadley Kay, meh Scott Innes is a spot-on impersonation of Don. Neil Fanning is fine, he does try his best to sound like a mix of Don and Frank. Greg Burson, meh.
I love Frank Welker, but I don't like his Scooby voice. It just doesn't sound right to me. They should have kept Scott Innes as Don's replacement. Having said that, I do think Frank was a perfect replacement for Garfield, though.
When I was a little boy, I would differently Remember that Hissing Sound that what they use to use on that type of Hissing Roaring noise such as the Destroyer the 14 Feet 5inch Robot Monster and also That 8 Feet 2inch Megatherium From the Hanna-Barbera Episode Called the Ant Warriors. Messick, Fanning, Welker, honestly. And the others were not worthy. Fanning sounds most accurately like Messick, even though Welker worked with Messick while he was Scooby. Go figure. I'm a voice studier and imitator (and have been for 30 years) and this is my somewhat expert opinion.

I don't know why but Frank Welker's version of Scooby-Doo is hard to imitate. Don Messick, Scott Innes, Neil Fanning, and Hadley Kay versions seem easy to imitate.
Do updated fred jones and make sure u add jim Wise he voiced Fred's singing voice in scooby doo music of the vampire when they were in the mystery machine
I like the Scooby Doo movies so would say Neil Fanning....A Mention to Scott Innes though as so far hes in categories for best Shaggy, Scooby, Fred & Scrappy and that's just the Scooby gang...Amazing voice talent..
As much as I like Frank Welker who still does an amazing job voicing him to this day, my personal favorite versions of the voice have to go to Don Messick’s and Neil Fanning’s.
