Hello everyone! In this week's video, I am going to try animating my original character Doris in the free animation app FlipaClip. FlipaClip is available on iOS and Android. Today, I am using it on my iPad 10.2 7th generation.

I'm currently making an animatic in flipaclip, so I know the struggles lmao Its annoying there's no stabiliser so I have to draw my frames in IbisPaintX and import them in.

That's literally exatly what I do xD Fr though, I'm still a minor and although I have a part-time job I'm never gonna have the money to buy a drawing tablet until I graduate and get a proper job, and I don't see a point of buying a stylus without one so the struggles of drawing with my finger without a stabilizer is real 😂

heres a tip for flipaclip free i learnt! if u copy the "squirrel" preset animation then erase (not delete) the drawing on each layer then delete every frame but the first one then u get an extra 4th layer that normally gets paywalled ^v^

Ever since I started watching your channel, I've become so much more artsy. This morning, I made little crewmates from Among Us out of clay, and (I did forget to check for the upload which is why I'm late)I did end up burning my hands from taking them out of the oven and then immediately trying to handle them @-@. A kinda cool thing I found out!! So FlipaClip is actually really good sketching an animation, Then import the sketch into your drawing program of choice! (I use procreate, but ibisPaint does work too!) Trust me, it’s much easier then using FlipaClip straight.

It makes matching line art harder as well as the drawing part because of the different work flow = different way of drawing if that makes any sense

That’s what I do! I make the sketch on FlipaClip and then finish it on procreate, I really onky do this to sync up animation to music/audio tho

a video idea: in gacha life, in the body section where u create a character there is an option of "random all" at the bottom right of the screen meaning the character gets a random hair and hair colour, random face, etc and it will be cool if u drew that character, its sorta like a challenge! press the button three times and whatever character u end up with u have to draw it, the character sometimes gets funny too.. btw love the vidddddd

Currently I have an old iPhone 6 so I can’t have widgets or animated lock screens :’) but if I ever get a phone upgrade I’m totally gonna use the Doris animation! Oh wait it’s only for Patrons... makes sense. I mean whenever I start making money I’d like to be a Patron too, so I guess it all works out! :D

That animation looks amazing! I recently finished an animation on Flipaclip myself. Flipaclip has been the go to animation app I’ve used for so long, so I’m pretty used to it. I’d say you did an amazing job!! I’m amazed by your dedication!! 😃 I don’t publically post stuff here on RU-vid, I mainly post on Discord servers and sometimes amino- if anyone was wondering why it doesn’t appear here on RU-vid.
