3:35 I really like Keith Silverstein’s work, whether it be on Beastars, Genshin Impact, etc, but as much as I love him, hearing what I normally regard as a warm and nostalgic voice (Genshin Impact) or a no-bullshit and tough kinda guy (Beastars), feels so weird to hear him as someone like Hisoka lmaoo. I had watched several seasons of HunterXHunter some years ago (before I knew of him and his work) and only some months ago did I start rewatching it from the beginning so it now gives me a whole different feeling hearing a voice I know. Don’t get me wrong tho, I consider his line delivery to be very on point when compared to the JP version, and just goes to show the absolute range of opposite characters a good VA can play. Honestly on some of his moaning lines I couldn’t help but giggle a little, probably out of nervousness lol. He’s kinda one of the VAs that continue to inspire me to try out voice acting someday too

Ghost Stories is the best gag dub ever made. If there was another anime series that I believe was misunderstood, I would most definitely want to dub it in English. Put in a lot of references what you hear in the media such as COVID, Donald Trump, North Korea, the Kardashians, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Facebook, Instagram, RU-vid, etc.

I’ve had plenty of “Nigga Moments” before. Never had I’ve had a “Nyga Momento”. I guess I haven’t been dubbed yet.
