I hope for all she has encountered, she finds and feels peace because she deserves it. I'm literally drawn to tears and have struggled through this podcast but I'm glad I made it to the end.. This the second CEO podcast I have listened to. I listened to Mo the other day. What inspiring and interesting conversations. I am totally perplexed by the mind of someone who takes advantage of children and gets pleasure from that. It's something that is firmly in my disgust category. I wish Jacqueline future happiness and success. She came across as a beautiful soul.

I have a very tricky relationship with my parents and went through a difficult period in my childhood which my parents dealt with very poorly. Listening to Jaqueline story I am also a very strong believer that regardless how negative a situation it has a purpose you may not see or recognise for many years. For me acknowledging how poorly my parents dealt with me helped to understand what I could do to help my own daughter, who has grown to be an amazing funny intelligent young woman. So all I can say is Thank you for the hard stuff. Without that I doubt my daughter would be the person that she is. Loved this podcast, loved Jaqueline for her comments on not being classified, perceived as a victim

I find that daughters who have courage and confidence, some mums get jealous and sometimes even scared for their daughter and they do everything in their power to clip their daughters' wings. I'm happy to hear from a woman who has clearly broken free from those restraints.

You and your team should see this interview as one of your proudest moments. The compassion shown throughout is absolutely wonderful and even more impactful given that this lovely lady has now passed. She overcame huge adversity in her younger years but she didn't let herself become a victim and moved forward despite her background to become one of the UK's foremost business brains. It saddens me that she didn't have more time to spread that inspiration to more people but I'm glad that she is now at peace. Again great interview.

I never knew of her passing until I had a notification in our local Facebook group that her funeral would be passing and stopping outside the store for people to pay their respects. The day of her funeral was one of the first brightest sunniest days and she had THE most stunning, beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen on a hurst. I felt so very very sad as they reminded me of wedding flowers and new beginnings😢 Taken far too young and with SO much more to give. RIP Jacqueline, Goodnight. God bless.❤

Hi Steven! I discovered your podcast a couple months ago and I'm hooked! You're a great interviewer, your questions are deep and the conversation flows - the longer the podcast, the better - I enjoy it a lot! If I could just make one note, that is I'd love to hear a short intro of your guests before the interview starts. I might be living under a rock - a different country for sure - but sometimes I am not aware of the people you interview at all (the company they build or what they are known for). Don't get me wrong, that doesn't drive me away from listening, in fact, it's one of the things I love the most about your podcast - getting to know new people, companies, and all - but I'd love to know a little about their background from the get-go instead of piecing the puzzle out throughout the interview or sometimes making quick stops for web searches. Thanks for all the content you create!

I can relate to a lot of what you said and only wished I had driven myself to my full potential though. You have inspired me to make more of a difference. I’m extremely hard working and love my job, however have ALWAYS felt and been told by others I should be doing it for me and not someone else. As a single parent, it is easy to get caught up in the struggles and feel beaten, constantly on the hamster wheel routine and it’s made me realise I’ve lost some of that entrepreneurial hunger I once had. Time to get the 🧠 into gear and finally make that change for both my children and most importantly myself. Regarding Jacqueline's experience at the GP blurting out her experience: it very much still happens today. I was in a similar situation regarding harassment/coercive control with a history of abuse in 2021. Visited my GP, who referred me to mental health professionals. The mental health team, after showing them years worth of evidence, stated: "Surely if you block them off all social media they will get tired and stop?". The country is shocking.

An Icon, this podcast had me in horror with regards to her Mother. Plus the joy she has brought to women and business. RIP Jacqueline.

I had no idea who she was before watching. However, this turned out to be one of the most beautiful things to listen to. I am so sad to hear that she passed this year. Life is not fair sometimes. What an inspiration!

I watched this i/v after Jacqueline's passing and mourned the loss of opportunity to meet another inspiring woman gone too soon. If her daughter ever reads this comment, I hope she takes comfort in the knowledge that her mother has only transitioned from a physical form into a spiritual one. She is blessed to have been birthed by a woman of courage and compassion and I hope she will have these qualities too. My condolences to her loved ones. I agree that her compelling story should be made into a movie. Enjoy the afterlife Jacqueline!

Her story hit me hard. She is extremely inspiring not only to go through her ordeals but to share her story. Definitely the most impactful podcast out of all your interviews.

What an incredible woman. The most remarkable people are always the ones who've survived hardship with great strength and dedicate their lives to bettering the lives of others. There's no better way to live. Also, what I wouldn't do to work with Jacqueline.... Couldn't ask for a better mentor. ♥️

Just heard the news that Jaqueline Gold has passed away. Sadly loosing her fight with cancer. I’m so sorry and moved to hear this 😢 I only discovered this podcast last week and was gripped by her story. Jaqueline struck me as a very courageous and brave woman in all areas of her life. Her experiences, troubles and triumphs throughout her 62 years are worthy of recognition and respect. Thank you so much Steven for bringing such a special gift via your work to an audience like me. I am a 49 year old self employed woman and your work has meaning and purpose. Rest In Peace Jaqueline Gold 🕊️ 🕊️ 🕊️
