Whilst I love the original, there is just something off about the story-line that doesn't sit very well with me. As Ann says, it felt cold and almost depressing for me. It's a fling, with ulterior motives, and for me that looses the intentions. It is no less unethical for a male to use a female, and hence as she says it does to an extent feels like the female is devaluing the male, or using him (physically) as a sexual object. Interesting though none the less. I couldn't agree more with Ann, and I love the little touches in the changes. I genuinely feel the story always wanted to cherish a memorable feeling following a lovely gesture between two humans, and that's special. Ann you have perfected that, and your voice is incredible all these years on. It feels so much more than a random fling with motives now. Now it's got meaning and a powerful emotional trail.

In the interview portion, she said that she wanted to "tweak" the words a bit to offer that the man was not just a sperm donor, but that maybe their reunion had a chance. It appears she did that with just one change at 7:27, the old version was "I'm in love, with another man..."; this version is "I was in love with another man...". Small difference but huge. Well done Ann!

Not only this. At 5:51 she changed to 'here's the flower, here's the seed'. Interesting enough, she decided to keep 'that one little thing', which probably means it's not a reference to the baby as many believe, but to the fact that the one-night stand guy could make her come, something that her partner couldn't. I like the original lyrics because it has some ambiguity so that if you're a romantic person you can still see it as a beautiful story. :)

I saw them a the Yale bowl in New Haven with Eagles and Little river band. And I worked this concert in Hartford security. Great voices I believe all life is precious even the unborn. I recall as a young teenage lad when Heart was really flying high on the charts, all my friends would rave about how nice looking Nancy was and how great she was on the guitar. Well, that indeed was true, but I always had eyes for Ann. That long dark hair, round face, almond shaped eyes, full lips... and of course, that powerful voice. What isn't there to like???

In July 1977, as Heart's limo was leaving the Dane County Coliseum in Madison, Wisconsin, I (somehow) managed to get next to it. Running alongside, I stuck my right arm into where the band was riding and hollered at Ann that I would catch them when they came to Peoria (Illinois) in September of '77. Ann yelled something back at me as I broke off. Little did I know how significant that exchange in passing would be. In August of 1978, I managed to meet the Wilson sisters after a show in Des Moines, Iowa-and she remembered that passing exchange we had a year earlier!

I love the band HEART. ANNE WILSON'S VOICE IS FANTASTIC...WHAT A GREAT FEMALE VOCALIST !!! NANCY SINGS & PLAYS GUITAR AMAZINGLY. Love all the Heart songs. Saw them 3 times each year for my B'day when they played at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island, NY where I live. Anne's vocal range gives me chills. Best female band and miss seeing them perform. There´s a nice saying "No one is perfect" and the only thing my wife needs to be perfect is Ann Wilson´s voice hahaha. For the rest, she´s amazing.

To me, she is still one of the most beautiful women ever! She's definitely my favorite female singer, but when I was a teen I always wanted to look like Ann. She's got the face of a china doll to this day...

When I was around 18 years old, I am fool off she, Ann Wilson (Hearts).. Till today I am eagerly wanted to meet Her and making one words to speak her seriously...!!!..

There were only two rock groups heart would be number one and then Fleetwood Mac both groups are the bomb I was just 15 when I first heard heart magic men in 1975 I was rocking my ass off to it I learned all the words and started singing it myself and grab the broom and started pretending it was my guitar thanks ladies I had a blast all thanks to you

She made this song into such a beautiful song... I've personally always loves this song. Nothing Ann or Nancy does is cheap. It's always perfect to me but I do understsnd her feelings on the song. Thank you Ann Wilson for bringing this song back!! #ForeverHeart
