#persuasion #youngandbeautiful The Story of Anne and Frederick Wentworth Movie: Persuasion (Netflix) Characters: Anne and Frederick Wentworth (Their Story) Song: Young and Beautiful Software: Sony Vegas 17 Pro Hope you like this edit.
I just love Cosmo Jarvis as Cpt Wentworth. So much expression & feeling in his face. He chokes me up in almost every one of his scenes & my heart breaks for his broken heart.
I really liked this movie The actor who played Wentworth was great he showed such emotion in his face the tear on his cheek at the end was so touching the actor playing Elliott was not as good playing him as the 2007 one did Elliott was a sleazy chelating crook which the new did not come across as this watched this movie 3times now loved it just for the new Wentworth he's brilliant ❤️❤️❤️
I loved this movie. I don't know why there are so many haters. It's a refreshing take on the story and has a lot of similarities to the version with Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds.
True. I understand why fans who've read the original stories are pissed. But there are already two good adaptations of the same story. Personally I felt like they should have done some things differently, like absolutely not adding something like 'Now we're worse than EXES!?' That was cringey. Otherwise I loved the pairing, I loved everything else about the movie. I wish I could see more of Dakota and Cosmo, they make a beautiful pair ❤️
I didn’t love it but I enjoyed watching it. I just didn’t like the breaking the 4th wall every minute. But his looks of love were always so heart wrenching I loved that
I don't care what anyone says about this, but for me this was the most amazingly adapted book to movie ever.It wasnt exaggerated or made too emotional. It was the perfect amount of love, emotions and realness. Also how awesome was dakota in this? the character was strong and not so much in love to loose her own self,i love this movie😭
Really liked the actor who played Wentworth other showed in his face just how much he loved Anne he was not going to give up till he got his Anne back the Actor in the BBC adaption who played Elliot played him better because he played him as person with no soul viewers should make their own minds up not believe what RU-vid reviews say he's I liked the Sally Hawkins And Rupert Penrey Jones Adaption liked this one too
Agree, loved the movie. Never cared for previous version, no passion no freely. Love this fleabag, messy, wine drinking version. Cosmo plays a biter rugged version, passionate.
You either haven't read the book, aren't an Austen fan, and/or have no knowledge or understanding of the Regency Era gentry class. This was a slap in the face to Jane Austen.
It's Jane Austen's last book, and It's like her last words. I saw Jane Austen in every detail on Anne.. And thats because I cried at the end. It's like the love she can never live it.
@@TypicalZain It completely misses the tone and doesn't understand basic facts about the story. It's not even a swing and a miss, the batter forgot to swing the bat on this film.
Many moments are amazing touching... music great... but... something missing in this adaptation... Maybe... However... nice watching movies and reading book... Everything change... Life change... Always searching amazing vibes in many movies...😏💙💚💛
It's pretty sad when this kind of stuff is better than the movie. It was a train wreck of a movie and a slap in the face of anyone who can think for themselves. Great job however on this.
I've not seen the movie yet, so I'd like to reserve judgement on all but two points. 1) This edit is beautiful. 2) If Persuasion is only plot, then I'm sure this adaptation suffices. It may even be beautiful. However, assuming any representation of Jane Austen's work is only plot is a slight to Jane Austen. Her characters are her brilliance. And that performance is not Anne Elliot.
Imagine an adaptation of a film that has no similarities to the thing it’s supposed to be “adapted” from. Anne and Wentworth are unrecognizable. I’m so so so upset about this film. I knew it was going to be quirky, but I was so hopeful it would be good. It’s awful 😕
I ignored all the reviews and decided to judge for myself. I’ve read Persuasion as well as all of Jane Austen’s other novels, so have some knowledge of her writing. I really enjoyed this modern interpretation. Thought the performances, music score and locations were wonderful. It also captures a lot of her wit. Finally read the reviews and some of the comments, including the lack of chemistry between the two lead characters, I have to disagree. It’s a really enjoyable film.
Horrible movie. Sad because Dakota can act I think. Also sad because the novel is sooo nice and could have been adapted so much better. Breaking the fourth wall??? Why just why
