Former FBI agent Ted Grunderson said 83 children were kidnapped an HOUR in the United States. This was from a study in 1986. I can only assume this number in FAR higher in 2021. The reality is that sex is easily acquired by rich men. My late father (a policeman) told me that when men are powerful enough to have anything they want, they become more and more debased in what turns them on. What is attractive to a normal person doesn't really come into the equation. Too much money = too much power = too much belief that they can do as they wish without consequence. When you get enough of them together, they protect each other.

We all know such kind of victims, adults, married, mothers, teachers, doctors, housewives, our mothers at the end of the story, or almost, first neighbor, but they all have one in common, they chose to live and even they created new lives, beautiful new lives. You have no idea how much this interview has impacted me. This interview changed my life forever. Her eyes are different than any eyes I've ever seen. It's like she's been to eternity and back and into the deepest void of existence you rarely ever seen. It laid a seed of pure rage in my mind and an impetus to open my eyes more to the world we live in, and what kind of society we are enduring. This woman is a hero in my eyes that fact she's still standing, and the fact she's actually speaking up. That's a true warrior.

I live in Belgium... Recently I found out someone from my own family was a pedophile. He never got conficted because 'it was too long ago'. I got the news about this when this uncle died. What justice is coming? These sickos get away with this all the time because they have money to influence and bribe people. There’s no justice until we get money out of politics so companies can’t donate (ie “buy”) with unlimited amounts of money to politicians regardless of party or affiliation. We’ve seen how lobbyists contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to their preferred candidate who then does their bidding. It was an incredible record of her insights into the psychology of her abusers, the social and political fabric of Belgium and global elites, and an epic testament the human ability to turn the most horrific experience into a diamond of awareness that can benefit us all. It is EVERYWHERE. As the mother of a 9 year old daughter I have to talk to her about human trafficking and red flags or lies people will tell you to lure you in. Statically 1 in 4 women are raped. I have my own traumas of being raped. The first time when I was 14 years old..then 3 more times in my life. The fear is real and I am so sad for my daughter that she may one day have to face it too.

My mind is almost incapable of imagining the horrific events that took place in this woman's life when she was a mere child. Most of us have lived relatively sheltered from these kinds of atrocities and until we hear testimonials like this, we think they only happen in movies. Great statement. But in this case it was her PARENTS that sold her. She wasn't kidnapped like others which makes this even worse imo. Don't care how poor or what the "excuse" or reason was they should be put in jail or death sentence. To do that knowing what will happen is probably the lowest you can get. I find it a bit interesting she didn't put any blame on her parents.

I can’t imagine surviving something like that. The incredible strength and emotional fortitude she must have is astounding to me. I don’t know (as I’m sure mental health professionals do not) what makes one person so much more resilient than another who would be crushed by the same experience, but I know whatever it is, I don’t have it. I can’t even begin to wrap my mind around the parents’ ability to SELL their own child. I have kids. I’d die a thousand deaths before I’d let anything like that happen to them. So many people required to make this possible, it’s incomprehensible to me. I can’t even imagine how it’s possible to come to terms with an experience so destructive and not come out the other side completely devoid of anything good. What an incredible human being. Growing up in a good family in Tennessee it is difficult to imagine these things happening. In my early thirties I met a 19 year old girl in Illinois who was raised as a sex slave by her Mother's father and her step father. I was totally astonished by her story. Years later she told me thank you for mentally and emotionally help her escape this life. Later she had her father prosecuted and put in prison. She now has a loving husband and a nice life. Someone I love had his childhood stolen. The woman involved (a child molester) now many years later, has several very young foster kids. No one cares until you’re an adult. Kids are treated like 3rd class citizens and something drastic needs to be done to these abusers.

If you need anonymity for whatever reason you could still help all those young foster children in her care by contacting your local or state authority. Send them a letter. You don’t need any proof and they won’t come looking for you either. Technically if you suspect abuse and say nothing it can actually backfire on you; not to mention the fear of reporting it is nothing compare to living with the guilt of not doing anything. You can always hope she changed, but are you willing to put those kids lives on the balance. The person you love might be too afraid and even resentful of you doing it but in the end if you go about it anonymously…it really could have been any of the other kids she abused over the years. Especially with technology, I bet authorities will find something to hold against her. You can’t control the outcome but you are in control of what you chose to do, or not do.

I am so sorry these horrible things were done to you. Hearing this brief outline of your life fills me with disgust and rage toward those who hurt you and many others. I also feel sorrow for you and every person who has gone through and is going through those despicable atrocities, I want to comfort and protect each of you. I will pray for you all.

She looks like she is in a stage of survival. A place she has learned to be, in order to endure the horrible things that were done to her by adults. By adults treating a child like this. . . Unthinkable. Unimaginable. I am also a survivor. ):
