My dad introduced me to Annette’s tv interview 11 years ago. He tried to follow this same lifestyle as much as he could. He discovered her late in life but ended up living to 85 with end stage kidney disease after implementing some of her ideas. Thank you Annette for helping add years to my dads life we may not have gotten otherwise and Happy Birthday to you Queen! You are leaving a wonderful legacy behind. You know this is crazy, I was just thinking of you yesterday. I turned 40 last year, I recently beat breast cancer and am very much overweight. Then I remembered how you said it's never too late to go raw and regain your health. I am currently on a water fast, but after that I will be turning a new leaf to a raw vegan lifestyle. @@TheMan-qv1bl I'm 62 and vegan for 7 years. She's moving a whole lot better than I am, that's for sure. I try to dance as well and used to be more active before the pandemic. But since the pandemic, I do not get out as much and my knees are getting tender upon bending. I am not overweight but am planning to incorporate more raw food in my diet, especially going high fruit to help with my joints. Many teenagers are overweight and not moving as well as Mrs. Larkins. They could learn a lot from her. I certainly have.
Happy Earth Strong Sister Annette! I just celebrated 70, and attribute my great health to daily swimming 1.5 miles and running the same distance in the water at the beach in the Virgin Islands. Although I am not totally raw, I have been on a plant based lifestyle since the age of 14. I also practice simplicity in my life; no drama. Thank you for inspiring all of us. I'm 41 and had to go to the ER today for chest pains. I sit all day at work and barely move. Thank you for being a role model Mrs. Larkins and for this invaluable reminder. I wish you and your family continued health and healing.
Please pay attention to what is happening in your body. Chest pains are warning. When I was younger and had a desk job, my doctor told me, “you sit a lot, you die early”. I took his advise. By the way, God has blessed me, I am 75 years old, My choice of exercise since I was 20 is Yoga. Move your body through out the day. May you live a long healthy life.
I am now 72 years 18 to 20 years ago I had very bad chest pains every day the pain was unbearable, chest pains means you have blocked arteries, I took (enhance oral chelation)pills I buy them from (true health) online but you have to take them with the minerals, (mineral power, from true health)you have to alternate, chelation pills today, the mineral pills tomorrow, or vice-versa, the chelation take out the plaque out of your arteries, but it also take out the good stuff also, so you have to put the minerals back alternate, this stuff is safe the only problem is it work so good that you stop taking it, and could end up back with the same problem, eat a plant based diet and light daily exercise like walking, stay away from red meat, burgers and fried foods, eat oatmeal and fruits and vegetable, bean salad, occasionally fish steam or baked. Must be taken with food the garlic in it is very strong.
At 81 the dancing, moving and overall energy you have is amazing! The longevity we all aspire to have as we age!! Thank you for always inspiring knowledge and showing us it can be done ❤👸🏾

@Trinity M Well, yeah, nobody needs necessarily eat only raw foods to be health, but obviously a raw diet could be really nice and fit like a glove mainly in some people who have chronic degenerative diseases.

I was thinking of you recently Annette, wondering how you were, and your husband. I will be 78 in 2 days time (28 Jan) and don't feel a day over 40. I don't get up as many steps a day as you do, but it's usually around 9,000. You've motivated me to step it up a notch so will get onto it!

I use to go walking but I moved to a different country and I can't seem to find a safe spot to go for a walk. My husband got me a treadmill but I get bored and and distracted quickly.
