The guy in the red shirt is completely crazy, not only in his eyes, but also in his virtuosity and guitar creative madness. Jeff Waters is also the band’s founder, composer, producer of 17 Annihilator albums to date, a man who has worked with world-renowned metal musicians, including such names as drummer Mike Mangini of Dream Theater. The 80s were a very fruitful decade for metal, much less digital, much more living human factor (with all due respect to technology). Are you afraid of ragged dolls? Hahaha! That's funny... The very concept of the song is storytelling from the angle of the boogieman she created in her head. That's what Jeff said about the song.
I first met Annihilator in the 80s on vinyl and was very impressed by the guitar tone and weird riffs fo Jeff Waters. It was weird at first, but then I loved it. I love originality and innovation in heavy metal rock. If you can, listen to Voi Vod (Canada too) one day.
@@MrVlasiman Thank you. I have all the albums on vinyl. I heard them all on cassette recordings, in garage days bands. I bought them at every release. I went to the concerts. I had T-shirts for all of them. All in the 80s. My hearing is reduced because of all of them. I love all these metal bands. But I'm tired, because I've been listening for decades. Black Sabbath and Kiss, for example, since the 70s. Overkill, Exodus, Metallica and Megadeth, I've been listening to them since the 80s. We need to discover new bands and other musical genres and study musical theory and practice. Learning to know different cultures and styles. But, Megadeth, Metallica, Exodus, Overkill and others they are all in my heart forever. :)
After listening to this type of music for a while (if you're anything like me anyway) you start to seek out the "weird" stuff. I can't tell u how much I dislike hearing the same ideas over and over GIMME SOMETHING NEW
This song is master piece and contains an important message from what i understood from the message that jeff waters is trying to send it is the ignorance of the parents about the dolls possessed and instead of listening to their daughter and helping her by calling a priest and a paranormal specialist to deal with this problem and help the daughter alice unfortunately the parents have chose to lock him up in the basement and ignore him so a big thank you to jeff waters for showing this around the world thanks to this song
@@martymorris5676 they are a band that there music is based on horror movies. Funeral derangements / hip to be scared are the popular ones. They are off the new album from late 2021. My favorite is farewell to flesh ( no video only audio) or stabbing in the dark which is based of Halloween. Very talented band. Lead singer is a horror movie fan
