What T-Mobile could do is. If you have a voice line, you will keep the home plan. Even though you are traveling. Anyone else would need the away plan.

Thanks you guys for your warning. I called and spoke to a T-Mobile representative about there Home enforcement. I voiced my anger and told the rep if it happens I would be canceling my service. I’m hoping after your first video T-Mobile got enough calls they decided not to screw the consumers.

We have been traveling using the T-mobile home and it works great. We stay in Florida for a few months and use it there which is where we originally purchased it. Now we have a home back in Michigan and we are using here. If the crack down and charge more than the $50 per month we will return the unit. They need to really think about what they are doing.

Thanks Izzy & MJ. FYI, I have this problem with youTubeTV membership too. Simply, if for a trip or two and/or a few months on the road, they are OK with that and no problems. Once they figure out that we are on the road full-time, they force you to make wherever you might be as your new “home.” You can change it twice a year. This is a problem for those of us that are out full-time.

We have the T-Mobile home internet and only use it for the RV. I had not heard about the new policy, and will drop them if they bring that policy back.

We are ready to buy an RV. We have cash to pay, but honest to Pete, we go to the RV shows and the quality is just not there. We don’t want a luxury 45 ft Class A. We want a well built maybe 26 -27 ft 5th wheel. If you read the reviews for any particular model, there are serious issues with them. With Thor owning the entire world at this point, those sales numbers will continue to decrease until the powers that be realize that no one is interested in buying shoddy work and materials. Our 21 year old Sunline has never once had anything fall off or come loose regardless of rough roads. We’ll be towing it to Ft Wilderness in the fall - 1019 miles, and unless we get into an accident, nothing will budge. We can't "upgrade" if all the newer stuff is inferior to what we already have.

The internet has made negativity stylish. Don’t believe all of the reviews. Many negative comments are made to create clicks and views. Negativity sells on the internet. Thor has about a 40% market share, that is hardly the “entire world.” There are plenty of decent quality smaller fifth wheels on the market. Look around and you will find something that suits your desires. I have a 33 foot Reflection fifth wheel and am very pleased with the quality; it has been basically problem free.

We have a 2021 Riverstone fifth wheel (our unit was number 2512 built since approximately 2016). Couldn’t be happier with the quality. We picked our model and got to choose our interior colors, exterior paint colors, independent suspension and additional extras, ordered Jan 2021 and took delivery June 2021. Love the dealership purchased through, they answer all calls. Met the factory staff when we got to tour the factory last summer when we went for bodywork repair due to my husband directions backing me down our pasture fence line on the return from a trip. I drive he navigates (sometimes poorly) I have also never had the Riverstone factory reps not answer all our questions and concerns.

Thor market share in North America 50.9%. Europe 20%. Thor Industries owns Thor Motorcoach, Airstream, Jayco, Keystone RV, and a few other smaller brands. Do the research before negotiating. Good luck!

We have used T-mobile home internet for 3+ years with few issues (1st LTE then 5G versions). As long a there is T-Mobile cell service it works well. The crack down on travel didn't make sense when they are markets a $200 gift card for new customer sign up. Seems like the new "travel' plan was at odds with increasing the customer base. A call to their tech support said not to be concerned, as long as you don't expect high download speeds at every location because they can only promise 5G speeds at the primary usage address. We have a starlink available just in case.

Thanks for the Canadian #s! Gas is projected to reach $2.50 -3.00/litre ($6.90 - $8.29 gallon) this summer so I am not surprised. Our (insert not so nice word) government implemented a higher carbon tax April 1st - no joke - that drove it up already. Add to that exorbitant food, rent/mortgage, cost of living prices and... well... camping is a luxury that sadly many can no longer afford.

I understand if you live in your RV. When we take the camper on the road, we dont have a TV or care about the internet. I check my phone for weather and destinations thats about it.

For t-mobile, i hope they dont change it. I have it and use it. Works great. I don't see the difference. You're either using at home or in the camper. it's one or the other daily, so it shouldn't matter.

Class B's are simply a cramped space that is the price of a cheap house. RV sitting long will just be Warranty repair headaches in my opinion.

I bought my used Tiffin Allegro Open Road 2014 (last year) for less than $50,000. Its been a real gem. Drives great, reliable, no big issues. It was well taken care of, and still is. Have a friend who paid $127,000 for her Tiffin Allegro 2020. Its a CONSTANT headache. She's spent SO much on repairs. I have to wonder if Thor buying them in 2018 made a difference? Yeahhhh...when the industry wakes up and starts making things better again, MAYBE they'll sell better. I think it's sad. As for Matt's treatments, I swear by it. I also use T mobile, but will drop them quick if they change. Luckily we also have Starlink, so its all good.

T-Mobile plans interest me, and I love the idea of the wifi plan. I have used T-Mobile in the past but switched back to Verizon. The Wifi plan sounds good. I'll check it out. Verizon has just upped the rates so I'm seriously shopping.

Honestly, I've used happy camper also. Was on my third canister and threw it in the garbage after trying Matt's liquefied. It's night and day. I live and camp in FL and we get no odors at all now. It's completely a game changer!

I don’t understand something. If you are sitting at home even 8 hours a day, wouldn’t you use more data than occasional use on the road? I guess if you never have to move, you could in theory use as much data, but who never moves when on the road? So anytime you move, you’re driving so not using it. In theory home use would/could be much higher?

Love your channel. You're conflating disposable and discretionary income terms. For most, spending money on an RV would be discretionary spending. I suppose if its one's only home, then it would be disposable income spending as it would be scene as necessary like food, rent, etc.

The numbers just keep getting worse and worse it seems. I will be interesting to see how May numbers are. I know as we've been shopping for our used Tiffin 45 OPP, the units are selling within days and in some cases hours of being advertised. We lost out on 2 units because they sold within 2 hours of us contacting the sellers and both had only been advertised for a day. I think certain floor plans are selling really fast and other floor plans are sitting there. The new market? Well, that's just a mess. It's interesting to see brand new 2022's for sale and not moving at all. Amazing, but I think the industry has taken a huge hit with poor quality on new units. People don't want the headaches to buy new and have to get repairs. A friend of mine purchased a 2024 Tiffin Allregro Red recently. Drove 182 miles before it DIED! Almost 2 months later, they still don't have it back. Thanks again for all the great content and keeping us informed. Oh, and by the way, we got our free bottle from Matt!!! :)

Get a cable that connects to your phone and the the other end is a HDMI. Connect the HDMI to the back of your TV. Anything you can watch on your phone will show up on the TV by=passing the limited Hoty Spot. It uses your regular data instead of Hot Spot allowing you to watch Netflix until the cows come home if you have the unlimited data plan.

Izzy, what model is your 5G cellular router? I'm thinking I could just go to T-Mobile and pick up a sims card for my laptop but install it into the router for unlimited data. We go camping every month and stay 1 week. We are older so we are not out climbing Mount Everest. We speed most of our time enjoying the landscape and watching TV at night. We currently use the T-Mobile Home network plan and take the gateway with us on every trip and it has been fantastic for $30 per month but may need another option down the road if TM cuts us off. I'm not interested anything real expensive like Starlink we are retired and on SS tight budget but love our TV streaming shows at night.

We use T-Mobile through a FMCA only plan and pay $59.99 a month for a 5G mobile hotspot, unlimited download, no contract (month to month and seasonal). When not RV'ing we use it for our home internet, no extra charge! Love it!

RV dealers follow the same path as car dealers. They get a kickback from the finance company, so they are willing to charge you less if you finance. If you pay cash, they lose money. Private sales are another story.

i tried the t-mobile at the house and could not get a workable signal for 3 straight days, returned it!!! as for the current pricing/deals, yes they are out there for sure, but if u are going to finance the rig there is absolutely zero deals out there from anyone no matter how good your score, this is the main reason folks are walking away, me included...... off subject but are you guys current owners of a newmar 3629? this is what i am currently looking at and someone mentioned to me you guys might own the same?? thanks 🤠

@@EndlessRVing Do they do that even if the phone has unlimited data? I never tried it to replace an ISP just use it occasionally. Works well for that and is fast since phone is 5G and I have good signal strength.

@@nancykramer7700 Mobile hot spot data is different than the regular unlimited data you get for your phone....hot spot allows you to use most other devices over the network thru your phone connection where as your phone data is only for your phone for the most part.

Motorhomes aside, towables are pure junk. Nobody should be buying a new towable until the industry gets it's ass handed to it and cleans up it's act. The chassis being put underneath these rolling house of cards are junk. Only one company is building a good towable chassis today but most manufacturers are still using the Chinese low carbon steel junk.
