Great review! I was hoping you'd get to this one too. If you've got spare MJX Hypergo parts laying around with the red can brushless motor it's a tiny bit smaller than the green SCY one but is 4200KV instead of 4000KV like the green one. might be the ticket for this road car.

did you use 3S battery with stock parts? or you did some mod for using 3S?

2440 brushless motors wind high for great top end power, but don’t have the bottom end of the bigger 3660 ..

Apparently according to rc crazy that know these cars inside and out i should have used a 22t..Discipline rc used a 20t,but his must have been steel vs a cheap aluminium ...have a couple of 22t s on the way!😊

Great job! Yes 100% guarantee installing a 2845 is what it needs i have a surpass 2845 5900kv on the wsy for mine..i am going with 20t pinion...on 2s it should be as fast as it was here on 3s...i will add aluminium heat sink to motor...For those that want to run the hell out of it i would recommend adding a fan for motor and one for esc...i love the oil shocks i added to mine..they needed some retro fitting and slight mod to get car to sit a bit lower,but they work and look awesome...i also think if someone could find a 2845 6500kv to 7500 kv using stock 18t or 20t it would be mega fast top end...i hope theres a few guys out there that there interested in seeing what this is capable of... heres a tip..order a new motor mount and mod .6 pin either 18t or 20t since you may like me find it impossible to loosen the motor screws due to them using red lock tite...yes if i used a torch i could have,but i did not want to cook the motor...my soldering iron did not work..Good luck this car is a blast to drive..extremely well engineered in my opinion...it can go fast and straight also which is a huge plus in my opinion..also dont forget controller uses 3 AA batts and also has better range than mjx controller,plus it has dual rate steering as well...😊 9:05

Did any of the escs get much hotter than the motor, on any of these suchiyu rc's (except for the trophy truck one which I have, and am asking cuz mine gets much hotter than motor)?

Update! Yesterday i tested my upgraded sg race car...2845 5900 kv..stripped the 20t aluminum pinon in 45 seconds..everything seemed perfect mesh wise...i dont think its steel spur gear likes aluminum..anyway i ordered a stock 18t and another motor mount since even blue lock tight forced me to strip one of hex motor mount screws 😅😅

reason why the battery wasnt empty after the run battery cant give enough amps so voltage drops to low and hits lvc same isseu i have with genace 5000mah 3s 60c in my outcast v2.5
