Love ya lex. You gotta snap fold that 910 though buddy. Those implied odds hands go way down in value when short stacked. You want high card blockers or pairs in that spot. Save the 1.5bb for your small blind and then have an orbit of free hands.
This is my home casino for horse racing.... Come back again & I'll give you my opinion for the Rebel Stakes this Sat.... I scored with Sierra Leone in the Risen Star last week. Nice hands... Good luck!
Fun vlog. Can't believe you got folds 4 straight times on All-in. You've come a long, long way from "Nits-O-Poker". You have learned to pull the trigger with little or no fear. Great evolution.
How to get to the final table 1)You must play well. 2)You must run well. 3)You must win your big favorites. 4)You must suck out a few times. The first one is the only one that you have control over It takes lot of skill and patience to put yourself in a position to benefit from luck (good or bad). Lots of ways to squander good luck and you go leverage skill/experience to navigate or survive a bit of bad luck.
No way, Lex. You have a dog named River. I do, too. I also live in Florida and play poker, but I went broke two years ago. I feel like this is an omen, and I felt our spirits connect from afar. Keep up the good work brother! :)
@@lex4665 I could have taken this reply in a manner that you are an asshole lol but you have encouraged me brother. I’ve been down in the dumps for these past two years. Life has put me in a crazy place, living with 11 people in a 3BR house, and I am the only white person. I need to get back up.
The guy that smooth called with KK, is lucky. That's just too risky, when you have so few chips. He's not folding, but he really shouldn't give you that opportunity.
Nice run, well-played. One question: why do you (and all the other youtube pros) compare your stack size to the big blind instead of the total cost of an orbit?
Nice run in a big time tournament. You're clearly improving. I have a complaint about the narration. You frequently switch from chips to big blinds in the same sentence, making it hard to follow. Also, you don't say how much a big blind is at the start of the hand, so we don't know how it relates to the previous situation. For example, after one hand, I think you said "I started the hand with 9 big blinds, but now I have 125,000 chips". Is that 10 big blinds? 17 big blinds? How many chips did you start the hand with? There were several times (I think about six) when we just didn't have quite enough info to follow. I do like your vlogs, so I hope you can accept this as constructive criticism
What is a fodeing type? Is it the same as when you do or don’t hode? For a guy that’s name starts with an L it’s bananas how much he doesn’t know when words have an L in them.
if you watch the hand you busted out on, the guys hands were super shaky. I knew he had a monster. I could tell how he was trying to hide his shakes by shuffling and his posturing. I couldn't even see all of him but I knew he had a monster.
I’ve been watching for a long time and I love your content but the first few hands I watched I almost puked. Some time working with Wiz for MTT’s would help you for sure Also, as a cash game player I don’t see why you aren’t buying in early when you’re deeper. That is a huge advantage for cash players. Tourney players can play 10-40bb’s with their eyes closed
So Sad! You know what NFL stands for? Not For Long if you keep making Bullshit calls like that! Not sure Mr Clanville was talking about River calls but Whatever. Think Chiefs got very lucky. Redskins for life.
