Saying Steph is the next Lebron is an insult to both players. Both are individuals playing in different positions with different playing styles. BOTH are great in THEIR OWN WAY. And Steph is not the next no one. He's the FIRST player of this style in the NBA. STEPHEN CURRY IS ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE PLAYERS IN THE NBA.

No hate but bc Bron’s career has panned basically 3 gens of basketball (in the 3rd one rn) he’s maintained the majority of attention/notoriety as the best player in the world. I think players like Steph, KD, Giannis, etc would be getting A LOT more love over the past few years if Bron just had normal longevity, but…he’s Bron so 😂😂 When it’s all said and done, I think all these guys will get more love/respect retrospectively than they do now (and none of this is to say they don’t have love/respect now, I just think they’d have more of it if Bron had retired by now)

SINCE 2013. He was snubbed and then too it personal the next 2 seasons tbh. Steph has been that guy, since 2013 if we're being honest here!? LBJ came in 6 years before Steph, with Steph facing years of injuries, but in 6 years he's mirrored LBJs without the FMVPs which it was highway robbery in 2 of those and he missed out on a MVP last year and this year, so technically Steph's been on LBJs level, and accomplished almost as much as him in half the time facing more hurdles, so it's kinda amazing in the grand scheme of things.

Two men with different types of natural talent and skillsets. They both add tremendously to what ever team they're on. The main difference I've seen is in how they affect the play of their team mates. LeBron has to have command, needs everything to revolve around him. Steph is more of a leader, encouraging everyone to pitch in and do whatever is required to win. It's a matter of style as well as statistics.

Curry changing the game is a little overstated. The game itself changed and Curry is the one that made or benefited most from the changes. Zone defenses challenged non shooters to become shooters and good shooters to become better shooters. Steph just happens to shoot the ball better than anyone, it's his great equalizer. When Curry's shot is not falling his biggest attribute is that of decoy or threat to catch 🔥 anytime. And having another guy that's an all time shooter as a backcourt mate helps a lot. His impact is kinda skewed because their is an attraction to wanna shoot like Steph. Who wouldn't want to hit bombs. But the rules of the game and change in coaching styles allow that. That's not to take away Curry's greatness at all... And the Lebron thing is weird. It's like for the last decade or at least 7 yrs they've been doing everything to diminish his accomplishments. They've done everything to try and make someone else the face of the league or most popular player. Steph,KD,Harden,Kawhi have all been the guy in theory but never answered the call. Curry is great but there are levels to it.

I started watching NBA from the Jordan era. I was born in 1982. Then I knew Lebron was great and watched some of his games but never enjoyed it. I still think he is great but it was just not fun to watch. Then I restarted to watch NBA since Curry came in and I think that there is a lot of people like me (the numbers support it). As much as I think Lebron is great, I think Curry's influence has already surpassed Lebron long time ago. Lebron may be a better player than Curry, but in terms of influence Curry is right up there with Jordan for me. Curry single handedly changed the game.
