Fantastic topic!! 1:47 so powerful!! Though I've seen a fair share of presenters who just avoid the question all together and answer with something completely irrelevant haha ...
Raíz, you have fantastic content, that is clear, well structured , practical and incredibly helpful. You provide great insight with tips and foundational pieces that confirm some of my existing behaviors, and help and me make some needed adjustments. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into creating and sharing your videos. Please don’t get discouraged by the view counts. As you well know it takes some time for the cream to rise to the top. In the RU-vidverse where there is so much questionable content, your rock solid product is a welcomed sight. Stay the course my brother, you have a great gift that needs to be shared.
*Loved this video Riaz* , especially the idea of 3-points play and your Creative Mornings clip helped. And, acknowledging a person's point of view is really important. Makes communication so easy and also improves the relationship if its someone you communicate often with.
Regarding tip nos 4, in the end, I ask the person that asked the question, if what I shared with them, if it answered their question, another validation, and checking in with the person's well-being
Just answering the question is so simple! We tend to make things far more difficult than they need to be lol. I never liked ''that's a great question'', more specific is more interesting I find. Great value in this video Riaz, cheers.
More great information! I loved the approach on questions of disagreement. I often end my answers to Q&As with 'Does that make sense?', but I've heard this is not an ideal phrase to use. Wha are your thoughts on it?
Thanks Tom. I agree with the idea of you checking back in with the person once you've answered their question to confirm you've addressed their issue. If they answer 'No' to 'Does that make sense', it could undermine your authority on communicating in general. If they answer 'No' to 'does that answer your question?', is a comment about their specific question and still provides the chance for a healthy back and forth to get at the issue at hand.
Riaz - Great Video - Totally agree with your points, particularly the last that it is Ok to say you don't know and when appropriate let them know you will get back to them. Also presenting ties to building a relationship which means being prepared to answer questions. I always try to think about what types of questions a person might ask.
I love what's on your mind!!! A great question! Another great video. being present is so important for answering the questions to the best of your ability!
I love the practical, very easy to use tips you have here. And definitely gonna remember the one where if you disagree with the opinion, first make the other party fee heard and understood/ find that moment of connection with them. Loved this one Riaz!
Love your consistency on this topic! This is so important to know and be ready for. I believe it connects with your last weeks video of understanding how to improvise
Such a great video! I've definitely noticed myself that whenever someone can't answer a question,, it 100% takes away the credibility from their entire presentation!
