There are many different ways to put out the fire in a Solo Stove fire pit. We discuss some do's and don'ts as well as what fire pit accessories can help in that process.
First, this fire pit is amazing. Got the Yukon and it’s great. Wish it had some type of handle to move easier, but not that big a deal. Would be cool if the cover had hooks on the bottom that could grab the stand holes to keep it secure from wind. Otherwise this product is perfect.
@@chaank1069 A handle that you can't use until the inside of the pit has cooled to a point where it won't melt the plastic numb on the handle, rendering it pretty much useless. I love my Solo Stove! I bought every accessory they had a year ago, and now I just got the heat deflector, but the handle is useless.
Hey Darren! It's just a regular outdoor rug. We're burning the Bonfire here on a Bonfire Stand which makes it safe to place on top of heat sensitive surfaces like wood decks, composite decks, grass, and even rugs!
We did this for demonstration purposes. It's a little snug but Shelter will in fact fit fit over the Lid! Make sure the fire pit is completely cool before using Shelter and you're good to go!
You're using the stand in this video, correct? Does the stand need to be removed and stored elsewhere when not in use when using the shelter cover? It doesn't look like the shelter is long enough to cover the stand.
Joseph, we are using the Bonfire Stand in this video and anytime we burn on a wood deck or rug. When Bonfire is up on the Stand, the Shelter does leave a few inches uncovered which is totally fine. The stand doesn't get very hot, meaning the Stainless Steel is safe to get a little wet. Great question though!
