Highlights
3:50 WZ6T starts calling CW he uses the 3 x 2 format
4:08 I answer his CQ call with a 1 x 1 (WZ6T) de KI5JUF he answers me
4:08 I answer back with my call sign
4:40 I answer ur 5nn 5nn in TX TX WZ6T de KI5JUF
5:55 WZ6T returns with my call sign but the last character he still needs, in his transmission he sends KI5JU? You can hear the question mark with Mnemonic phrase "Did the Good Dog eat it?"
6:17 I return with my call sign 2 x 2 at a slightly lower speed, this insures a QSL
6:45 WZ6T answers with R R this means Roger Roger and is a confirmation he has 100% copy he also returns saying hello to me with my name and confirming QTH and RST. In the same transmission WZ6T gives his name and QTH.
8:40 I return to WZ6T with FB TU FER QSO 73 73 de KI5JUF SK ..
9:28 WZ6T returns with salutations and Merry Christmas and little about himself how a HAM and age very good things to be added makes very warm QSO.
This videos lets you listen to me answering CQ call from
California, the caller was sending faster than I could receive, but once we made exchange he slowed down and I was able to work him.
There is a difference when sending when you on the air, what comes natural in practice sometimes doesn't when you on the air that's why there were some gaps in my sending I could not recall immediately what rhythmic Mnemonics I used for character recall
This video shows some ideas for building some interest in slow speed CW practice on 10m. I have found and some buddies have said that there can be a lot of activity around 28.050 for slow speed. I have also found many slow speed folks learning have a membership to Straight Key Century Club and share numbers during the QSO exchange similar to 10-10 numbers.
Straight Key Century Club My Member is SKCC 28058

We are looking for anyone interested we've started a small of friends to practice together, so if anyone is interested well start on 28.050 and hang out there.

Hi Mike How you doing, yeah it's a mix a lot of the QSO phrases I've been learning so a lot of the stuff I can kind make it out, I was able to catch the RST and the QTH, and his call sign, what was cool was the gentlemen slowed down for me and that gave a a chance, some of the stuff I still have to check FLDigi, there's a video I found 100 most common words on a QSO at 15 WPM, what I've done is I took the words and replay them over and over while writing down the letters, I got lucky today his signal was strong and speed was good, thanks for the message and you and the family have a blessed Christmas, well catch up, oh and thanks for the tip on 28.050, that was great, I hear a lot of slow speed there - 73 buddy

Steve I think your straight key last dots are a bit too long at least for me. I had hard time decoding charters ending with a dot. Thanks for the video.

Good morning how are you doing, Koch 18 WPM for 1-2 months, then watch Kurt's videos. The link is ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p2TOdpVGuAc.htmlsi=AruLtjKltb1q7YQb Practice sending, email I have a list of the 100 most common words, listen and watch Radio QRP ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m6JVPQJOfrc.htmlsi=ltlrYwNKo7-JMKV9 LEARN these very important, its a very slow some days after listen nothing will be recognizable next day you will be able to hear the characters. Throw the sheet away with the dits and the dahs' you will not need it, you will memorizing mnemonic memory aids associated with characters 73 let me know if you need anything
