In previous episodes, Laura has allowed herself to be more vulnerable in giving answers than Manny. This episode, Manny did too, just as much. Thank you both. As adults, it's difficult to be truly honest with ourselves, and even more so to share it with other people (to you, it's not just people, it's your audience and customers), and you both are sharing your journey and learning and growing from it. That's what's most inspiring to me about this podcast. Also, the friendship between you two is just so special and I'm in awe.

it is really really hard to hear Manny talk about his situation, just because of how much he is trying to blame himself for flirting or leading someone on. Saying things just in case, so the narrative doesn't sound like he is playing the victim WHEN in reality HE IS THE VICTIM. Say the story again out loud use the predator as an older man with a younger but of age woman. Then it is called sexual assault. Which makes it SEXUAL ASSAULT. You owe no one nothing. No means no. To that mother who felt that her child’s autism is her fault: speaking as a mother to an autistic child, it is absolutely NOT YOUR FAULT. Autism is neurological and is not a result of anyone’s actions. Do your best to support your child and ensure they are receiving appropriate services that does not make them hide who they are as a person and they will be happy. ❤️

Every night when I put my son to sleep I cry. I still every night think I wasn’t enough that day. I always feel like I could have spent more time with him instead of cleaning or doing things around the house. I feel guilty for days when I’m tired. Every night when he’s asleep it’s a reminder of how fast he’s growing and how quick the days go by. I mourn the loss of each day and worry I am not enough. My goal is to give him a life full of love that he doesn’t need to recover from, and I hope he always knows how loved he truly is.

As a mom with a son with ADHD and Autism, Thank You 🙏 both for responding to that mother the way you did♥️♥️🌹♥️♥️. We autistic moms do carry some guilt, even though it is scientifically impossible that we did anything to cause autism in our children. It unfortunately is a game of chance, and sometimes genetics. My two oldest children have ADHD but this was not caught until they were in their late teens, early 20’s. I also have adult ADHD. but my son was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism at age 1. He is now 18. I worked hard with him and his Dr’s, put him in special schools for his needs. He was finally able to go to a real high school in his Senior year and graduate this year on time. ♥️. It’s not always easy to the autism mother. But it’s worth EVERYTHING! I hope you see this! Because I am sending you and your son so much love ❤️ and the world’s biggest HUG 🤗 from this autism momma to another! Blessings to you and your precious boy♥️🌹♥️

Do you think your friend either realized or heard that you may have been gay, and that scared him by believing that other people would think he was gay himself(?); or if he was gay himself, he was scared to admit it to himself still(?) We have to realize that accepting other sexualities has been very very recent, being gay was hardly acceptable even 10 years ago! I can relate to manny with his friend. I’ve had that happen to me so many times and it’s just so hard to feel like your worth the love. I to this day struggle with making friends because of that trauma, makes you feel like your not worthy of having a best friend like that. That’s why I love Laura and Manny! Their friendship heals brings me joy 😭❤️

Let's hear about your childhood, high school years and before-fame young adulthood, with the meaningful, the mistakes, the completely embarassing mments (which we all have), heartbreaks/giving heartbreak, jerks (friendss, romantic, teachers, etc) you had to deal with and all you've learned.

This podcast took me on a whole loop after they mention Jon live on the ACE Family foreclosures, I watched that. Read the comments then spent an hour watching Shylas terribly sad video and why isn’t anyone talking about that. Now I’m here back to the podcast to watch it. It’s been one very entertaining afternoon to say the least 😭

As a female and getting taken out to dinner by a guy almost always they make you feel like they owe you something because they paid for the check… even if I tried to pay they wouldn’t have it so they would have to be like “Aw I bought you dinner can I have a kiss, can I sleep over …..” so many guys do this it’s so sad, and it has happened to me many many times. Manny's story about his high school best friend ghosting him reminded me of my high school best friend after we graduated (we were friends since partway through freshman year) I got her to talk to me once after we graduated then I never heard from her again, she didn't even take a picture with me at graduation. I was so heartbroken and it took me a long while to even understand that our friendship was toxic with her constantly trying to control what I say and do, it was like she was my self-appointed babysitter rather than my friend. Probably the best thing she ever did for me was ghost me.

I had a "best friend" ghost me this year. We were communicating as usual, then suddenly crickets! There was something that happened amongst our friend group, but as a "best friend," I would've at least reached out to the person on the opposite end and got their side of the story, then talked & went from there. I'd expect her type of behavior from a stranger, co-worker or just an acquaintance, but not a good friend. I'd never do someone close like that. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I love this podcast so much! I love LLLA and Lunar Beauty but I want to say to Manny specifically, I love your brand. I appreciate every single little detail that goes into every launch and I especially LOVE the fact that you don’t have a big investor behind your brand, and that it genuinely feels like products you curated and made happen. You mentioned in your reveal video that due to costs you had to change where your palette was manufactured to keep the same price point. I cannot tell you how much I respect that you were upfront about that and didn’t wait till people received the product to address it. also, the lip gloss formula you have is hands down my favorite, pleaseeee don’t ever change it!!

On the topic of being self funded vs not, you guys have people that buy your products solely because they love who you are as an individual. There are people who don’t even really wear makeup that buy your products because they wholeheartedly support you as a person and want to help you succeed, myself included. And many others I know. I think that’s a beautiful thing. 💜

I feel for Manny about the ghosting story. I too was recently ghosted by one of my good friends that I truly adored. Its like part of you dies inside because they leave you with no explanation on why they did it, so you forever overthink afterwards and that takes such huge tolls on new friendships & relationships

It doesnt matter if you flirt with someone allday online or they buy you something or take you somewhere or if youve done stuff with them before...YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO ALWAYS SAY NO AND HAVE THE RIGHT TO STOP DURING ANY TIME!!!!!

Oh god the story about being ghosted by your best friend really hit a nerve for me.. And we even were in the same class together. It was really traumatic for me, too. She just cut me off over the summer break and basically never spoke to me again. I got the feeling that some people in our class knew why but I didn’t do anything that I was aware of that would explain it. We were 15 or so and we were inseparable before that summer... sat together in classes, hung out after school every day. I saw her a few times as an adult and it surprised me that she never felt like explaining or apologizing. I couldn’t do that to another person.

Honest opinion here! I love both Manny and Laura and watch every single one of their videos. When I heard they were creating a podcast my first thought was “oh man… another podcast started by you tubers” lol I’m sorry!!! But holy shit. This has become one of my very favorite podcasts. I LOVE THE DYNAMIC. I love how they feel they can be so open here. Also I feel like my love for them both has grown because you both are truly being honest and open about other topics other than your norm! Love it you guys 💓 happy to be a fool!
