I enjoyed the whole Video. It is so nice to hear small talk about Excel. I do not have the opportunity for that because most of my colleges use Excel like Tiping Machine from 1829. Sometimes when I see what they do from my Workbooks prepared for easy data entry, I just wanna go silently and cry alone.

Wow - this is so inspiring. I first came across Oz via LinkedIn Learning and thought, "whoa, I don't think I could ever be that excited about Excel." Fast forward to many RU-vid videos, more LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft tutorials, and then some...and I am a believer that Excel and technology tools are MAGIC! Thank you guys! I very much appreciate your openess. It reminds me once again that one should be grateful for living a good life. After 20 years in paper making business I left the company more or less as an experienced Excel professional. Just like experiece you've made, colleagues asked me when they've got Excel issues. I agree to Leila's "no corporate" because of the same reasons she mentions. That limits me too much. I've learned so much from both of you and some other MVPs as well. Thank you so much for that. This was a great interview Leila! I had the honor of meeting Oz and some other amazing people at a Think Data Summit in Birmingham, Alabama and it was such a great experience. Maybe one I will be able to meet you at the Global Excel Summit or some other get together just to be able to sit down and have a conversation with you or anyone that really uses Excel and so many of the features within the software is such a great experience because I believe we can all learn and grow together.

There is something amazing happening here. I came across your channel cause I was searching for some tiny Excelthing. I was usually not using it in my professional life, except making a list of stuff, basically no formula. This has changed since back then. I made this list be basically our tool to check on our income etc now, even with the ability to import into an other program to write the invoice, without copying or even typing any numbers twice anymore. Now this conversation was on another level. One that wasnt something Inever expected. Usually I watch talks between musicians, about their guitars, records, careers. And this was basically the same, but with Excel/Data experts. Who have a life, too. Who knew?😬 thx.🖖🏽🍀

Awesome video! Many thanks to both of you for being brutally honest about life with Excel, and the challenges of being in the media whilst sharing your knowledge, expertise and passion of Excel, PowerBI and data analysis. You are SuperHeroes. Despite some people being nasty, the majority of us are very grateful for your tips and knowledge, and, for being a virtual friend when, as ordinary folk and digital nomads, we have no colleagues or friends to look up to, or to share the passion of Excel.

Fantastic, fantastic really personable interview Leila and Oz.. you both have shown us real people who know what problem solving is all about... It's not magical and doesn't require maniacal managers... it simply requires honest people with a passion who care for others, the ability to listen and the ability to share.. And often though we want to help our organization, realistically it is not appreciated... 'It's not your job' is the common refrain... Sadly that has happened to many of us and the creativity we provide gets stymied .. both of you are an inspiration... In new outlook, I can't find the trust center and add-ins in options(there is no options) ; I read we need to install them manually. In new outlook, I can't find office accounts, account settings, tools, and a lot of missing tools.Can you provide a video to solve these issues?

Leila Help Please, I am building a spreadsheet with 7 columns and 1200 rows. Column A is just a reference column, B is dates column which are fine, column C is with Validation drop down codes list, column D is details with drop down, tested and working all down to 1200 rows. Column E is payments F is Income and G is balance (Balance column work as it should) now I need your input in column E and F, If I select from column C for Income code it should only allow me the income column and if selected payment from C it should allow me to enter in payments column. In income column I have 5 source of income and payments I have about 44 or it may grow prior (My code list and details list grows as it should). I need help using validation (Custom) in these two columns E & F, so that the entry don't get switched between two. Thanks a lot if you could help.. (I use Excel 2000)
