✌🏾 Just opened up my heat press and vinyl cutter after it was in the box for a year. I've been soaking up all of the game from your videos. Your videos are a lot of help.😮
✌️So glad I found your channel, lots of great HONEST stuff not all fluff lol. I recently bought a used UV DTG flatbed 😳... Got such a killer deal I had to ask the guy 3 times if it was the correct price lol. We're getting in to the promotional products and custom stuff more tho, but you are 100% RIGHT about getting your transfers from a professional shop cuz that's there job. Any good shop will stand behind there work and make it right for you. Not you banging your head on the wall and going all office space on your printer.
Watched the vid all the way through. Here is a question for you big dawg. Are all of your different "brands" under the same DBA or do you start a new DBA everytime you launch a new brand. Thanks for continuing education.
nah my business is structured a lot differently than what most see on youtube. i do a lot more than just run brands. So the legal part of my business and my business names are structured to my own unique situation. Everybody is different and does different things. if you are running a brand now and you are seeing great success in it, why are you looking to start a new one? also, when you start to see a lot of success in your current brand you'll kind of know what direction to take it and your future businesses. i cant tell yoy open multiple dba's or form one llc or a corporation to do multiple things under. that would require you knowing exactly what you wanna do and how you wanna operate. the more money you make the more you'll know what makes the most sense. always consult your cpa.
If you're pressing htv onto a hat do you prefer a 5 or 6 panel hat? I'm thinking about ordering some 6 panel hats but worried about the centre seam showing through afterwards
if im pressing htv on a hat i use 5 panel hats. if i need to press on a 6 panel hat, i use supacolor headwear transfers. its made to lay flat over the seam.
✌️ An artwork how-to video would be great. What programs / Apps you use, format(s) / sizes, how to measure out image sizing for gang sheets etc. Thanks for the videos!
I’m just starting out and I have a small inventory to get started. What platform do you think is the best to go with? Is it worth paying for Shopify at first or do you think Etsy or Amazon handmade is good. Thank you!! I appreciate all your advice.
Hey there, thank you so much for always sharing such great info for how to start & run our new businesses. I have a random question . Do you recommend using a virtual phone number or 2nd line for your cell phone, for your business?
Brandoh how do you avoid press marks on your tees? I use parchment paper but it seems to happpen everytime....also that Wu Art behind you is DOPE ASF. 👌🏿
Uce, on point. Question I set 315 at 15 at 2.7 on my sig pro, I hear you share your settings and you say heavy, for your sig what number do you put it at been curious. As always thank you sir.
the surepressure is for you to visually see what number you are at. its not a universal number that is the same on all presses. i have a total of 6 signature pro presses in my shops. ALL of them have a different "heavy" pressure number. (this is how i figured this out) 1 press my heavy is set to 55 on another its 28 and on another is 50 and on another its 40 and on another 36 and on another its 45. to find your heavy pressure just turn the knob all the way till you cant close the press and then back it off 1 turn at a time till you can clamp it down shut with a shirt in it. thats your heavy pressure. write that number down. then put a hoody in there and do the same thing, back the knob off until you can close it and write that number down. now you found the heavy setting for a t shirt and for a hoodie.
yeah i got vids on it but i used to use thermoflex too. but i use econotransfer now because of price, size of roll, feel, material selection (puff and reflective are really good) and i never have any issues cutting, weeding or pressing it
WuTang on the wall after a very long time i saw that sign love it❤Big Brandoh! 🎉 I would like to ask that if in case I do not know designing buh love to open a t shirt printing business how to go about it should i learn how to make desigin draw sketch or hire professional and also which one would be more kind of imapctful though i don't doubt both options....??? Pls guide big brandoh
you can hire a graphic designer to bring your ideas to life for you. and also learn the basics of illustrator all at the same time. you can learn all these design softwares on youtube now for free. get the basics down and starting messing around but while you are learning you can pay a graphic designer to create your designs for you. also build with that graphic designer and ask them for some pointers and tips also.
Hello I was hoping you can reply to this message quicker bc Ricoma has a sale and it ends real soon but which digitizing software did you use for the Ricoma 1501 that you have? Also I was wondering how much did u pay for the Ricoma m1501?
i got the chroma digitizing software. and price will depend on what you qualify for. i financed my machine. so you work that out with your sales rep. i would just hit them up now and ask every question you have to the sales rep. that way you can get the answers you need before you commit to the machine.
@@BigBrandoh thank you! Just one last thing. Would you recommend this machine? (Ricoma 1501) I saw other reviews that say ricoma has bad customer service and they forget abt u once they made the sale 😕 alrighty thank you very much for your time I appreciate your help!
when i got my machine they didnt even know i made videos. hahaa i dont order equipment under big brandoh. i order stuff under my print shops name. so they didnt know who i was so they werent giving me special treatment. they were the only company that didnt try to sell me the most expensive machine they had. they told what would be good options for what i wanted to do and then let me make up my own mind. on top of that, any tine i need help, theyre 1 call or 1 email away/ customer service is the only reason i went with Ricoma. maybe some people had a bad experience but for me, its been the best investment i made for my business.
i dont do too much sublimation on shirts because in my experience. Sublimation works best on 100% white polyester shirts. and i dont offer any polyester shirts to my customers. i mainly sublimate on socks, mugs and tumblers and i used to do masks. but thats about it.
Shiny, hard on the tee shirt and skin dtf and supa color transfers are wack. Only time I use dtf (dtf over supa color, same quality just waaaaay cheaper ) is on hoodies. Supa color and dtf on tee shirts is low quality. Walk outside in a supa color or dtf tee on a sunny day and feel the sun beemin through that transfer on yer chest. Wack
thanks for the info. so do you prefer wearing shirts that are only printed with dye sublimation? because traditional screen printed t shirts are a heavier print than transfers. i have the proof on my channel of that. im curious to know what you think feels better to wear on a sunny day. cuz everything ive used or bought is always hot on a sunny day.
@@BigBrandoh I prefer dtg. Sublimation tees minus silky socks tees are too thin for my liking. Dtg is a great shirt to wear on a Sunday day. Transfers (supa color and dtf) are a magnet for the sun.
DTG? thats crazy. DTG is the worst print process and even heavier on a shirt haha the shirt is soaked in pretreat with a white under base. haha BUT, that just shows you, this is all a personal preference. what you like to wear and print is different than what others like to wear and print. just cuz you think something is wack, the next person might think other wise. but to answer your first statement. supacolor and dtf are not the same print method or quality. two different print processes. but if something aint for you, it aint for you. you gotta do whats best for you and your business. aint no right or wrong answers, its all personal opinions. cuz in my opinion, DTG is the worst type pf printing to offer a customer and to wear and the durability sucks. but obviously thats the complete opposite of what you think.
@@BigBrandoh not gon lie. I do hate the pretreat process. Other than that it beats dtf and supa color. The one thing I haven’t caught from you or any supacolor affiliates is what the actual process is. I’m saying that, I’m assuming they use plastisol for white base then print ontop of that. Dtf puts a white under base via ink and then prints ontop of it. Both have that sandy bottom so not sure how much they differ other than dtf being way cheaper to buy. Depending on how you pretreat and what level you print at, the tee will feel heavier. But once you get the settings down it almost feels like a sublimated tee. And best of all it’s not a magnet for the sun to burn a hole in your chest or back. I don’t know anyone that soaks a tee in pretreat other than the companies who are providing pre pretreated tees. How long have you been doing dtg on 2020 and up printers and pretreat machines?
ive been printing dtg for a little over 13 years. i currently own 4 dtg printers. 3 of those printers are "commercial grade" (thats a subjective term. its just a regular ass dtg printer haha) and 1 is a converted epson that i built. in total ive owned 8 dtg printers in my 13 years of offering it to my clients. but ive been building these printers to test out for over 15 years. ive pretreated with the brush, with a spray gun, with a pretreat machine. ive tried different inks and cured with a heat press and conveyor belt dryer. all methods i feel are always heavy. but like i said, its just a personal preference. i dont like wearing it, i dont trust its longevity on the shirt. but i dont feel one printing process is superior to the other. i think it comes down to what you like and what you prefer.
two videos in and you still complaining???? 😂😂😂😂 why would i ever listen to you for video advice? you complaining about my intro is like being homeless, begging for food cuz your starving... i give you a plate of food and you complain about the food i just gave you because i didnt heat the food up for you first before i gave it to you... HAHAHAAAAAAA
@@JustPassingBy_Yolo that’s the problem with social media-anyone with a opinion that expresses it, is considered negative. I like the content, I just don’t like the intro, every single video has it. It’s like 30 seconds long and excessive.
