Hello Sis Margret. Hope you are well, I have a Btech in Performing Arts Technology. Will i be eligible to apply for PGCE, to probably teach Arts and Culture?

Please answer that question, is it possible to get SACE on my first year?

Hi there, it depends. I'm assuming you are referring to the provisional SACE Registration. If you are doing a PGCE, yes - in fact I advise that you should. However, if you are completing a BEd, which is usually 4 years, I'd say apply in your 3rd or 4th year simply because you can only keep and renew a valid provisional SACE for 2 years if I'm not mistaken...Meaning if you apply for it in your 1st year and by the time you complete second year your chances of renewing it will be done and you'd have to wait until you complete your qualification to apply for the qualified teacher's SACE certificate. I hope my explanation makes sense.
