John is a low person with ambition and above average intelligence. He is totally devoid of shame which made him perfect for the celebrity interview which were so funny in early '90s. Having an over sized ego he had no ability to correct himself.

I thank these two for the years of laughs they provided. I thank they're both a little jealous and bitter now....but I still have great respect and affection for them
What's interesting to me about hearing this clip is I liked Jackie better than Artie on Howard's Show ( I like Artie as a comic ) but HERE, Artie is much quicker with his wit and much more interesting than Jackie is.
In a nutshell.... Jackie overestimated his value and got greedy. Artie fell hard into drugs and let them take over his life. John.. Never funny, not talented in any way.

Oh my God, Jackie has to get over it, it was about twenty friggin years ago. He makes a good living doing stand-up, but he's not an actor and he hasn't written a pilot or anything like that. He hasn't written a series for RU-vid or Comedy Central's website or Funny or Die or College Humor, so his ability to make serious money is going to be limited. Sometimes you have to look to the friggin future, man...
