After hearing that audio abortion, Ant has no fucking business criticizing ANY artist, especially a legend like Johnny Cash. When I heard Dara my cock tried to hide up my asshole, it was so cringed out.
@@justval4958 They did say he wrote it in the video. I orginally heard it by Legendary Raw Deal. Thought they made it since that's one of their only good songs.
Ant is one of the sharpest minds in the history of the entertainment business. I’m going to go ahead and say he doesn’t really think NIN’s hurt is better than Cash’s, especially with what Reznor said. The original makes you feel and evokes emotion. Cash’s cover brings forth a GD deluge of pain and feeling.
He seems to like 70s classic rock and 90s grunge/alternative like Alice in chains and pearl jam. Just basing this on the rejoiners he's complimented on the show.
Honestly surprised that Johnny Cash ain’t the very last thing that Ant’s mouth breathing mind decided to come for. But Ant is probably, as Patrice has said, the funniest guy who never became a comedian, and yet for a guy who has a good voice & was in a band for a while, his taste fuckin can suck lol, too many bad takes. His saving grace is that likes Alice In Chains, but how can you not ?
@@dickgezinya5318 I thought it was terrible. He took out 100% of the emotion and replaced it with his borderline monotone dreck. If you don't understand English, you'd think it was some kind of country love song or something.
Rick Rubin's production of Cash's version ruined it. He took out all the interesting things and made an incredibly boring arrangement. The NIN version is much better.
Johnny Cash is one of the greatest. I get what Ants saying about the cover songs but come on, it's Johnny Cash! Most of the covers were better than the originals. With that being said Ant is entitled to his opinion and unlike a certain group in today's society I am not going to attack somebody for having a different opinion than myself on a subject. And as for Jim... Danzig did write Thirteen for Johnny Cash but has recorded his own version which is awesome.
