Teage will have a breakout game as Kidd-Gilchrist did tonight. My first reaction would be to let Lamb run point but I think we'll see Teague step up sooner than later. at least i sure hope so!
what a game...... i was on my way to my bball game and i was listening to it on the radio. i had to get out of the car when there was 30 seconds left. i missed the ver end. fml and go cats
My friend and I picked Kentucky for the brackets last year, a complete random choice, we had no idea if they were good or not and they went so far, we picked em again this year to be true to kentucky and they're gonna take it home!
i used to block shots like kenny sky walker, i was tony sky walker. still got game , don't get me twisted. just low to the ground now days. lol. anthony brown.
Any people claiming to be Carolina fans but complaining/making excuses on here are not real Tar Heels, because we show much more class than that. Both teams gave it 110% and we made a costly mistake at the end, and Kentucky made a clutch play. Simple as that. But I look forward to a rematch of these two great and evenly matched teams.
@stevo18ck OK and don't blame officiating. remember earlier in the game when kid gilchrist got hacked across the arm so hard he tweaked his shoulder? yeah no foul was called, and it was definitely a foul they should the replay a few times.
@MaNiMaBaLLa: No, I'm pretty sure he prettty damn good confident in his own self. I mean, don't you see when times where he just goes off and runs around defenders, slash in and scores with no problem? If he didn't have any confidence, then he wouldn't do any of that. He would just play the true PG role and constantly pass the pull and get many assists...
@ShadowSoul900 You're probably right but it would make for quite a title game though. UNC is actually as good as they're going to be right now. The CATS can only get better and that makes them dangerous, so....if they play in the title game, it may get ugly for the Heels!
@KnottCoBoys He needs confidence, that's his problem. He needs to shoot more, instead of taking a nice look he's passing and getting it turned over, we can't have that. He also needs to work on his foulshouts, damn...
Not even gonna lie, Kansas with their come back from the dead routine every game scares me...they've beaten two teams that have more talent than them...we'll see. We got our work cut out for us.
@BryantsPolitics Watch closely, and you'll find Teague getting fouled with 1.0 left on the clock,,,which is why Teague picks up the ball and "travels." If anything, a foul should've been called and Teague should have gone to the line with 1 second remaining. But that's not the point. You can point to about a dozen calls which could have gone either way. Zeller's no-call charge. The out-of-bounds possession reversal. A couple of clean blocks by UK which were called as fouls, etc. UK won. Period.
@stevo18ck -- Two great teams played each other and UK won - let it go. You can blame the refs for not catching the walk (I don't see it, but okay) you can also blame the refs for missing the foul on Teague right before the supposed walk. What you can't blame the refs for is UNC not knowing what the hell they were supposed to do with a blocked shot and four seconds left in the game. That was ALL on them. The fact of the matter is, 2 great teams played an awesome game and only one can win.
Teague's free throw form is just awful. They are going to have to work with that boy on fundamentals. He has no business being on the floor in late game situations. Also great block by a great player. Davis saved Teague some MAJOR humiliation.
@c8o100 In his NBA years he hasn't shown much, but you know damn well that J.Wall was a monster in college hoops, just look up on RU-vid "John Wall Kentucky Highlights" and watch it. :)
@MaNiMaBaLLa: LMAO seriously? Teague will end up being great by Jan to mid Jan. He is showing improvement. Knight and Wall are certainly nothing short of awesome ball players, but they did struggle in the beginning of their UK seasons. Read better, because I didn't compare Teague to Wall and Knight to what they are now but to what they were then when they first started playing ball for UK. They both had a lot of TO's just like Teague...
@xAccuracy1 don't act like Kentucky didn't catch a lot of breaks. I mean look at the last play of the first half. You telling me Henson wasn't fouled? Come on. And yeah teague did walk and theres no excuse for not calling it. it was a great game but the refs made some crucial errors.
