I’ve never been married but I can relate to this. I’ve had girlfriends who’s mothers I couldn’t even stand to be in the same room as. Like sometimes we’d be hanging out and talking with people and cousins and family. And when the mom would show up, the air and energy would just drain from the room. It was palpable. You could feel that shit. That’s why when Ant jokes about daydreaming about slugging an old lady, I can feel that. Not so much the getting physical part, but there were times where I wanted to ask “do you ever shut the fuck up?” I eventually got her to stop wanting to hang out or come around because since she talked so fucking much (always talking shit about others), I’d throw it back in her face about times she hypocritically did the thing that she was trying to talk shit on family members about.
My exes mother was the worst person ive had to speak to. I had to protect her from her alcoholic mental boyfriend who started bashing his house up with a hammer threatening her with it. She talked shit about that man the whole bender and when he had enough he flipped shit and i had to stay between them at 16 or 17 yrs old of age. If i had any sense i would have pushed that woman towards the man. And she was terrified and wouldnt get up from the couch so i had to be there inbetween them for a while trying to tell the woman to leave the house rn. She was like im too scared hes gonna hit me and i was like i will protect u just fucking go. Thank god i didnt get hit by a hammer because of protecting a under 60iq spoiled c of a women. Reason why i ended it with ex is i started seeing resembles of the c mother in her
@@drbibhis7345 Yea, that's the worst. When you try to assume positive intent in your own girlfriend, but you DO start to see her mom in her. And its not that you hate your girlfriend, but you just dislike her mother THAT much.
The constant disparaging others, asking for things, and butting in with nonsense just for attention when conversation drifted away from her. All of it done in the most passive aggressive way possible. And if you ever call her out on any of it, it's "I'm JUST saying...no need to get so upset!" like it's you who's the asshole. Anyone who prefaces something with "I just", is about to tell a lie.
@@mikejarrett3297 Me too. I sold weed back in the day and had some pregnant girl I knew ask me to front her for "pregnancy pains" or some bullshit like that. I was fucking disgusted. She thought it was fine because she didn't drink. Brainless "miracle medicine" mentality.
This is exactly why I'll never get married. I saw my dad get enslaved by his in-laws every time they came to see us and basically couldnt tell them to fuck off. But I always did =) I dont take kindly to that sort of behavior especially when they acted so entitled like we were suppose to be their butlers every time they stayed with us.
