Anthony Vernon joins me to discuss his short book 'The Assumption of Death'. In the piece, he shares perspectives of death from some of the greatest minds of the past whilst packaging his own thoughts in elegant prose. Some segments are a few lines, some poetically told, others narratively.
The premise of the book is that our hitherto conceptualisation of death is built from mere assumptions - we experience dying but never death in itself.
