I filmed this at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia, as part of the Clash Of The Titans Tour. This show was transferred directly from THE master copy, so this is the best quality out there.
that giant clock... I got to turn those hands at the show in Mansfield Mass.. I won a " Roadie for a Day " contest, m and while I had to do some work, there were plenty of fun perks...

I saw this show literally one day before this one! 30 JUN 91 in Baltimore. Irony for me is that I grew up in Va Beach, so for the first few years of my concert-going life, the Coliseum was my MSG. Fun fact: Cliff Burton's last show in the US before he died was at this venue. Check the dates: 3 AUG 86.
My dad worked security at the CT show not long after this. Front stage. He said the chairs bolted into the ground were flying through the air. Crowd broke through the chain link fence and stormed the pits. Mayhem
My buddy got into an accident on the HRBT driving me and some friends to this concert, so naturally my 15 year-old self hitched a ride to the coliseum to get there. Two military guys on the way to the concert sipping on a bottle of blue Mad Dog 20/20 picked me up (and shared their MD 😂). I missed Alice in Chains, but saw the rest. Those were good times...if only I could go back with what I know now 😏
I thought Billy was gonna kill that dude who got up on stage during Indians. This will always go down as of one of the most energetic & straight up insane Metal shows I had the pleasure to see as a teen hands down!
May 91' San Francisco Cow Palace was out of control! we're probably who he's talking about at 16:40. I dived off that barrier 3 times, got put in a headlock from security twice! did a somersault on top of the crowd! 3 pits! knocking waves of people over! that place was like being in the ocean dangerous! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember them on this tour. Supporting iron maiden on the no prayer on the road tour, janicks gers first live tour and album with maiden, about 18 months anthrax would fire Joey (BIG MISTAKE) . GLAD I Saw this at the NEC in Birmingham England.
Saw the same tour when it rolled threw Edinburgh. My first real live concert, Anthrax were brilliant, Maiden were superb. Anthrax were never the same for me after they dumped Joey.. But hey he is back with them now..
got to see this tour when they opened for IRON MAIDEN in Phoenix. smoked a J with a Indian about 4 ft. from a cop,cop was not happy ..7 ft.,Indian guy stuck his middle finger in the cops face , cop walked away... Good times....
16:40 he's talking about crazy crowds. a month earlier in San Francisco Cow Palace we were getting crushed like 20 people deep on that thing, I divided off of it 3 times myself, we had 3 to 4 pits going, sh!+ was hectic. you could be like 20 people from the front and just pick up both your feet without falling.
I hate that they don't play Time. Just the intro tease. One of my favorite Anthrax songs. Persistence Of Time is their best I think. Clash Of The Titans was my first show.
Tripping Balls at this one. My buddy passed out and fell face first from standing down the steps at Red Rocks. One dude was passed out under a tree in the mulch before the concert started and he never moved the entire show. He may have been dead. SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Alice n chains was boring. Praise Anthrax for getting it going propped. A n C should have stayed home and sucked their thumbs for this one. There’s studio bands and real bands. Deeeeeez mothers fuckas is real right here. Oh did I mention? SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SLAYAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it just me or is Scott Ian pissed at Joey for hogging the mike during the barricade fix? Anyone know any jokes Scott says? Who knew he wanted to replace Joey with John Bush!
Joseph Fisher I no, I was at the UK Birmingham nec gig for this and wen they supported maiden at the nec 1990-, saw them in 92-93 the Wolverhampton wulfren gig for sound if white noise, John bush is not as good as joey, John bush is a great vocalist, but joey has the signature voice - Scott Ian runs anthrax. But in my opinion there half a band without joey.
This was the best Anthrax line up, then it went a bit shit with Belladona, Spitz and Bello out the band. 2018 nearly this line up again apart from Spitz.
